1) The Beast

Ilyana: “Alright, the invitation says that the competition will have a bubble and a floating island in the middle. In this tournament people from all sorts of places will converge and fight to be champion. In the tournament physical attacks and special attacks will be allowed. But Ike, you need to pay attention to this part. In the bubble magic dictates that damage you would have been dealt in the real world makes your grasp to the bubble weaker and you get flown farther away. Pain will be felt but only the moment of the injury because no physical damage will actually be received. So the point is to knock the opponent out of the bubble as their grasp slowly lessons. Additionally each person will be granted the magic power to jump once in the air and summon a shield to defend themselves; the shield however will weaken with damage taken and shrink if held too long. Do you get it Ike?”
Ike: *is flexing, looks up* “Huh? Hey do you think my right bicep is bigger? It looks that way to me.”
Ilyana: *gets pissed off* “Were you even listening?”
Ike: “Sorry my attention span surrendered at the bubble part and I gave up.”
Ilyana: “Don’t you even care about the battle?”
Ike: “Battle why didn’t you say so!” *heroic smile* “Alright, I’ll be there!”
Ilyana: “Ike this battle isn’t normal everything about it is…”
Ike: “Alright, tell Oscar to make a feast; we’re celebrating.”
Ilyana: “Feast?” *forgets to chastise is hopelessness*

Two weeks pass by and the tournament is beginning.
Lucus: *snorts mucus out of his throat to speak in a nerdy voice* “Looks like four way elimination only one precedes each round. Since we’re friends Ness, let’s make a pact to team up against everyone else before we fight each other if we ever get the chance.”
Ness: *high pitch response* “Okay like totally.”

Announcer: “In the first match we will be having Pikachu, Ike, Samus, and Mr. Game and Watch.
