Across several rows upon rows of houses filled with the sweet smell of restaurant goods, such as pasta or sweets, would lie the very best bar a man could ever have to himself. Some say it was divine justice from daily lives, some say it was magical. Others just happen to know its owner: one of the greatest customized boxing champions of his time. People that would go there on a daily basis spoke of tales in the fighting ring with its owner. Apparently he made a great person to talk with when it came to things such as that. Things seemed to be going rather well for the bar. It was only days later that this was not to last.

Now, standing in front of the burnt remains of what was once his famed bar was the very person that owned it. What would comically be seen on an anime character's face equivalent to dismay be etched on his face, three blue lines falling down the right side of his face while the upper part of his face were shadowed, leaving the eyes unseen and only the bottom jaw visible to those that looked in his direction. Despite the wind blowing steadily in the east direction, the purple coat sported by the man did not move. His posture was slumped over as if a great weight had suspended him on his back, his arms dangling forward like the branches of a willow. Muscles looked as smooth as marble despite what his usual appearance would be. Sure, he was a very large individual. Now, he looked insignificant, as if at any given moment the breeze would pick him up and take him to only the almighty knows where.

His mouth opened as if he were ready to speak, but as it opened it stopped in its motion. Now he looked more like a Zombie new from its slumber, staring bluntly and without emotion at a predicament it did not understand. His bar had burnt to the ground, and he had no idea how it had happened. And to think this happened in one damn night, in the middle of a vast theme park. Shen knew he was going to get chewed out for this. After all, this was a total safety hazard, maybe even a violation of the rules! So all he could do was stare, and hope the head of the Theme Park would not find out. That was when he caught sight of someone he had not seen in a while. In a moment, his face brightened up, he returned to normal with the thought of rebuilding this old building, maybe making it even better than before!

"Minwu!"

Catching sight of the old buddy that helped him escape a large desert gave Shen a sense of relief. This guy would most likely know a lot about where to find the right supplies, and Shen was great at building things. Frantically, he waved his arms in hopes of catching the other guy's attention. He would need help with this, after all.

Somewhere near the smoldering ashes that were once a bar, a girl was sitting on a bench eating cotton candy. The girl had shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes that matched. She wore a short yellow dress with orange trim and an image of an orange bow on it, dark blue leggings and white tennis shoes. A small fairy was perched in her lap, sharing in the soft treat. The fairy resembled a rabbit with a mostly white body and orange on the top of her head, around her eyes, on her tail, and on the tips of her ears which had gold wing shaped clips on them. She also wore a yellow cape.

"This cotton candy is yummy, deshu~!" The fairy named Potpourri said happily.

"It sure is." Replied the girl, named Itsuki Myoudouin.

But the peaceful moment was soon interrupted by an offensive odor. This odor snuck its way into Itsuki's nostrils, causing her to curl her nose as she curiously sniffed before putting a hand over it to block the smell.

"Ugh! What is that smell?" She asked to no one in particular.

Potpourri had smelled it as well despite having no visible nose, and covered the area where a nose would be if it were visible with her tiny hands.

"PU! It smells like somehting's buring, deshu!" She shouted.

Itsuki would then notice smoke wafting in from her left. Looking in that direction, she saw more smoke.

"It looks like something has been burning!" She said in shock.

"Do you want to check it out, Itsuki, deshu?" Potpourri asked.

"Yeah." Itsuki answered.

Potpourri moved to perch on her human companion's right shoulder as said companion stood up and headed in the direction of the smoke. Before long, they were standing before the smoking rubble.

"Oh! What happened here?! Did a building burn down?" Asked Itsuki as she surveyed the disaster zone.

"Hey Itsuki! Someone's over there, deshu!" Piped the baby fairy, pointing at the large muscular figure standing in front of the ruins.

Itsuki looked in the direction of the point and saw the blond man looking in another direction himself. She then gasped, recognizing him.

"That's Shen Woo! One of the fighters in the last KOF tournament!" She said in awe. Since her family owns a martial arts dojo, Itsuki was familar with all kinds of martial arts tournaments. KOF, Iron Fist, even the Street Fighter competitions. "I wonder why he's here."

"Let's go ask him, deshu!" Potpourri said.

"Ok." Itsuki replied before walking over to the man.

As she came to his side, she heard him call a name she'd never heard before.

"Minwu?" She wondered.

"Who's Minwu, deshu?" Potpourri asked.

"I guess that's him." Itsuki said, pointing to the man in white whose attention the street fighter was trying to grab. She would then turn to the man.

"Um, excuse me? Mr. Shen? Would you mind telling me what happened here?" She asked somewhat shyly.

Shen Woo's bar-- Gotta rebuild the damn thing! Empty

Shen Woo was about to rush off in hopes of catching his old pal before he felt somebody else trying to catch his attention. Normally if the person was pestering him he would tell them to bugger off, but knowing this was a child and a fairy thing he decided he shouldn't really be too rude to them. He shrugged, obviously having no idea why his bar had burnt down in the first place. If this was sabotage, he would find whoever did this, and he would send them to the nearest clinic with a nasty recovery bill on their hands! That is, of course, considering he found the person that did this in the first place. But right now he concerned himself with answering whatever questions these kids got for him. He noticed she seemed rather shy for her age, he only guessed she knew he was a famous man for participating in the King of Fighters Tournament for a very long time, though not as long as some of the other contestants. He remembered being partnered with his friend Ash Crimson for a time. Ash left to do whatever he had to do for the time..... More or less. Shen wondered just what kind of pain he would bring to Ash for letting him down like that.

"Don't really know, kid. This here used to be my Bar until some idiot brought fire to the walls."

He put his left hand on his hip and scratched the side of his head with the other. Of course he'd need some help rebuilding this magnificent building to what it was like before, but that's nothing compared to how many supplies of Alcohol he lost in this blaze. He looked about, and miraculously nothing else had been damaged. This definitely seemed like the work of sabotage. What if whatever did this was part of some nasty conspiracy against Shen? Or worse yet.... What if Ash Crimson did this to piss Shen off even more? The buff man slammed his fist into the palm of his other hand, wishing he could get some answers from whoever did this. He remembered some old fart telling him to retrace steps when something of interest happened.... Or was it when he got lost somewhere? Shen couldn't remember. But of course, he had to try.

He remembered somewhat performing the finishing touches on the large table that bordered the cabinet with the liquors, which would be behind the server as he prepared drinks for his customers. But at the moment, nobody was coming in. Not a single soul. With good reason, of course, since the place was getting ready to close down for the day. Shen wiped off the entire table, each and every one of them, using many clothes and cleaning supplies in the process. He had to keep this place looking good, after all. When he was finally finished, he realized he was thirty minutes past his closing time, which was exactly 10:00 PM. He yawned, tired as he was from a hard days work, walking out the back door after looking around to see if anything was missing. He had a photographic memory of everything that happened during the day. He counted how many bottles would be missing as he served them to the customers, knowing very well when one went missing. He'd track down the nasty thief and make him suffer for making his work that much harder.

So he headed out the back, same as he always does, and has done since his bar had moved to Golden Saucer since Novus Orsa was abandoned. It sure cost one hell of a penny to do that moving process in the first place, and now the place was ruined! He leaned against the back wall of the building the night before it got burnt to the ground, lit a cigarette, and enjoyed some cool peace and quiet. Was it the cigarette that burned the place down? Nah, that's not possible. After Shen was done with it, he clearly threw it into the trash can, then walked off to his motorcycle, then headed home. One night later, the place is burned to the ground, and Shen was left without a job.

Shen tugged at his head with both hands in frustration. He wasn't really used to thinking so much, it made his head hurt. If he ever needed something from someone, he never used his head. He'd just use his fists to get his way! But these fists can't remake a large building on their own, not in enough time. He struggled to ask a question, which he of course was not used to doing, to whomever looked strong enough to help him out with rebuilding this thing. He looked to his side and sighed, his attention now redirecting to the little girl which had asked him how this happened in the first place.

"Don't mean to sound too weird or anything, but do you know anybody strong enough to help me rebuild this thing? I need a job so I can pay the electric bill at my place."

A sweat-drop eased down his cheek as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. He needed help, sure, but he would prefer doing so without asking children. Didn't need to bother them with this adult stuff, anyway. He remembered he could ask Minwu for help, but seeing as he yelled out to him rather loudly he expected the guy to come running over any moment now, so nothing to worry about, right? His headache was growing worse and worse the more he continued to think. He was a fighter, not a thinker. You don't survive long on the streets by being smart in your head, after all. Shen had two arms of solid steel and a heart of pure titanium. He always fought for what he believed in, and always fights with a reason, whether that be because somebody pissed him off or they challenged him doesn't matter. And he always won, not including against Ash. But Shen would get his measure of revenge against Ash, he shook at the thought of him finally finding Ash after all the time they had been separated. He'd remind Ash of all the happier times when Ash gets knocked out by a brick wall of a fist.

Again, Shen's mind was trailing off. He shook his face so that he would be able to concentrate on rebuilding his bar, and getting his customers back. After all, he needed the money, what with the KoF Tournament not happening right now and all.
