~Old ties.~

How long had it been since they had met? He figured it had been a few years since the last time he had saved not only the world, but two worlds. A single group of people battling together for a mission that, until the end, they realized was a mistake. And it was at that realization that they decided it was time to take a much different path than what a simple prophecy had told them. Many considered their new quest to be the false way of saving the world, and one couldn't help but wonder just how different things would have been if they had stuck with this method. Eventually, even some Angels themselves opposed their own prophecy in the pursuit of this new path. The two chosen one's otherwise would have become the conduit of a failure, giving up their lives for a purpose that would not have even worked in the first place. That is, one of them would have, the other had no real guarantee of embarking on a quest at all. He preferred sitting around and enjoying life to its fullest before he would grow old and wither away, nothing more than a memory in the minds of the younger generation. To think, that he would be dragged along for this journey. But at least right now, he wasn't going to argue with it. There were other more important matters to deal with at the given moment.

Standing in front of a mirror, not for the purpose of basking in his own image for a change, his hand moved along a red tie, fingers tracing along that cloth in the motion of making sure it did not come loose. Underneath was a rather bright white dress shirt, tucked into black dress pants with a belt around the waist. Finally, a suit jacket worn on the outside, a layer very well needed to look as good as possible. After adjusting his tie to a perimeter he believed would be acceptable, though he was on constant belief there was something off about him that he could continuously improve in some way, yet he knew there was a limit on what he could do. He had cologne on of course, but had someone else help him out in case he ended up spraying too much. He wanted everything to be perfect down to the very last detail. Long pink hair fell down behind his back, surprisingly straight considering its length. Of course its length is not easily combed, it would be time consuming to do so. Therefore it was safe to assume he had gotten there early. He didn't have much time before he would have to step outside and join with the one he admired the most. He only prayed he wouldn't mess it up.

Finally he let out a sigh as he turned away from the mirror and looked at a pair of shoes to his right. They were black, easily matching with the rest of his outfit. He already had socks on so he wouldn't need to worry about looking for any. He scratched the back of his long pink hair, his gaze slowly sinking to the floor as he made his way to a nearby chair. Upon sitting in it, he reclined backwards and crossed his left leg over the right, putting both hands behind his head while closing his eyes. He dared not fall asleep, he didn't want to seem lazy during on one of the most important days of his life. He could hear others within the same building making noises, obviously preparing for the ceremony ready to take place. It was scheduled to happen exactly fifteen minutes from present time, and he could have easily waited before putting his suit on and getting ready. He just felt it necessary to be early. After all, how many times has he kept somebody waiting? He didn't want to admit that he was a bit of a slacker. The feeling of laziness was there plain to see, at least most of the time. Right now, he felt energetic. The only ironic thing is, he had to keep himself calm this time instead of acting like a fool. The suited man couldn't help but think about how weird it was that this was taking place.

His name was Zelos Wilder, the supposed chosen one of Tethealla. But, as the chosen, he claims it is in everybody's best interest to constantly keep him entertained, well fed, and to offer him vast amounts of cash so he could embark on his journey and, perhaps, succeed, though not a single one of them had succeeded before him, and he certainly had no interest in trying a quest like that. He wasn't the type to be confident, rather he was a coward, he always backs out of his challenges. That time was past and he was now considered a hero due to the events he went through with. What was about to happen is going to be the proof that he was no runner anymore. He was to be married with Sheena Fujibayashi on this day.

A single drop of sweat fell down his forehead as a single man entered the room with which Zelos was located in. He motioned toward Zelos as if to tell him to follow. Knowing well what that meant, Zelos would have to wait in a room for about ten minutes before Sheena would follow behind. Then that meant opening the doors and walking down a long row of people with their attention constantly focused on him. He couldn't help but feel nervous that everybody would be staring. Without a word, he stood out of his chair and began walking with the other, much older fellow, grey features recognizing him as an elderly fellow. His face was straight but it was easy to tell he was pleased with the young chosen one for his decision of marriage.

~A New Bond~

To think that their relationship would come this far... It seemed like only yesterday that she was rejecting his advances, smacking him upside the head and calling him an idiot, and now they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. Time really does fly...

She sat in front of a vanity as a maid was putting the finishing touches on her makeup and hair. When it was finished, she stood up and slowly walked to a full body mirror. As soon as she saw the reflection, she let out a small gasp, because she almost didn't recognize herself. Her black hair, normally tied up into a ponytail, was allowed to hang down, reaching her shoulders. Her face was carefully made up with mascara, eye shadow, and blush and her lips were pink and shiny. Her attire for this special day was a long white bridal gown that reached the floor and white heels that could only be seen while she was walking. She wore a few accessories, including a pair of earrings, a necklace, bracelets, a tiara, and the all important veil.

Getting over her initial shock, the ninja bride let out a sigh and smiled.

"Who would've ever thought that I'd be wearing a wedding dress. I sure didn't." She said to herself with a chuckle.

Sheena Fujibayashi took a moment to reflect on this day. The day of her marriage to Zelos Wilder. Like previously mentioned, she was annoyed by him and his habits. But as time went on, she realized she was falling in love with the "Idiot Chosen" much to her surprise. Also surprising the Summoner was the gradual ceasing of his skirt chasing. Zelos had begun focusing all of his attention on her. And the rest was history. Sheena laughed again as she remembered everything that had been leading up to this moment.

At that moment, a knock was heard on the dressing room door, catching the woman's attention.

"Are you dressed yet?" Asked a voice from the other side.

"Yeah, I am. Come in." Sheena replied.

The door opened, and four females walked in. As soon as they saw Sheena, they all adopted astonished expressions.

"Oh my gosh, Sheena! You look so beautiful!" Shouted Colette Brunel, clapping her hands together.

"I completely agree!" Said Marta Lualdi happily.

"How are you feeling?" Asked Presea Combatir. "You're not too nervous, are you?"

Sheena took a deep breath and nodded.

"I feel fine! After everything we've been through, this is no problem!" She said confidently.

"That's a good mindset to have." Said Raine Sage. "Most people would be ready to faint from nervousness by now."

Sheena gulped as quietly as she could so her friends would not hear. She was happy to have their support, but what she had just said was only partially true. She was nervous.

"Well, it's almost time for things to get started!" Marta said cheerfully.

"That's right. We'll take our places by the altar. We wish you and Zelos the best of luck." Presea said.

"I can't wait to see the ceremony!" Colette said with a grin. "Good luck!"

Raine nodded.

"I'll show you to the room." She said.

"Ok." Sheena replied.

With that, Colette, Presea and Marta left the room. Sheena looked back to the vanity and spotted a bouquet of many kinds of flowers. The bouquet that she was to hold during the ceremony. She walked over to it, carefully picked up the bouquet and took one more breath to compose herself before standing in front of Raine.

"I'm ready." She said.

Raine nodded again and left the dressing room as Sheena followed. She was indeed nervous, but that mattered little. There was no hesitation in her movements. Marriage was a big step to take for anyone, and she was truly ready to meet the love of her life and eternally bind herself to him.

Zelos and Sheena. Empty

Mother Nature has awaited for a day like this to come, especially when love brings a brighter life to the world like any other. With her eternal blessing coating this world with enough power to bring posterity, she just hopes that this bounding was meant to be. One of her many children was invited to take part of this ceremony of matrimony; the one she chose was the boy that Sheena has asked to preside for it. Who would have done it better than the Junior Armamentalist; Revolento, the Young. The male was pretty surprised on being brought to help out when he doesn't know a thing about presiding weddings whatsoever. He's seen it countless of times before, but his childlike personality kept him occupied with something else. Now that he was older, he quietly travel the world to see many cultures practice different things. With the knowledge he has gain up to now, he probably can help preside the wedding if possible. He has to get the proper clothing for this occasion.

Today, he began to wear robes bathed in celestial waters by the angels of Arcadia. Woven with golden strings of smooth silk, painted in colors of pearl white, sapphire, and silver, it marks the holy colors of the boy's current position in the Arcadian Kingdom. Of course, the male also has brought a bible to... to... Huh, guess he doesn't really know what to use it for... Instead of citing some quotes from within it and all. But hey, it doesn't matter; As long as he was there to give both Sheena and her husband their permission to become wedded.

Walking through the corridors of the church, the male looked up to the stained-glass windows and said-- "Marriage is the union of two different surnames, in friendship and in love, in order to continue the posterity of the former sages, and to furnish those who shall preside at the sacrifices to heaven and earth, at those in the ancestral temple, and at those at the altars to the spirits of the land and grain." ... Whilst his speech, a familiar face emerges from the widows. It was his master's wife, she took the time to join this celebration in order to give the male some pointers on what to say. Then again, the chances of her actually helping may end up saying the wrong things. Cirque looked down as he finally head to the pedestal and said-- "Can I really do this...?"

Zelos and Sheena. Empty
PostSubject: Re: Zelos and Sheena.   Zelos and Sheena. I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 03, 2013 4:44 pm

Being led through those long hallways, he came across many rooms filled with people, talking amongst each other of whatever subject suited their best interests, with some speaking of the upcoming ceremony and others of their past fortunes, most likely keeping the anxiety to themselves yet talking of other things in order to pass the time. Waiting for his chance to say words spoken which would harmonize two lives forever, his only option now was to be led to a place which, otherwise, he might not have been able to locate, given the fact he had no real experience with this building whatsoever. Everything seemed unfamiliar, even for a chapel, and the place had many rooms. Although he could hear voices of several people those of which he had never seen before and most likely would not after this day, he could not hear anything regarding the location of his soon-to-be wife, Sheena Fujibayashi. Of course, if he were to notice her before the ceremony, he knew it was bad luck. But how could anything about her be considered bad luck? He felt to be the luckiest person alive, and the smile which spread across his face did nothing to mask his appreciation for the moment.

With no father there to escort Zelos to his spot at the end of the aisle he was left with asking the older fellow in exchange, which of course his request was accepted without hesitation. Now he was well on his way to the beginning of the aisle, a haven waiting for him. He hoped he wouldn't have to wait too long before he would get to meet the bride at long last. His posture was straight as he walked alongside his escort whose name he could not remember for some strange reason. Going back through all experiences he had with this particular person, whom he once met at ironically a chapel in an old city which again he could not remember the name of. Sighing to himself not out of his nervousness, although partially because of that, he was ashamed he could not remember names very well. He at least knew the name of his bride.

He now stood in front of a pair of double doors, no doubt the aisle waiting for him and his escort on the other side. And with it, a small audience of people whose faces he might remember, and the pastor himself awaiting the moment to speak his words which would unite two lovers for all eternity. The thought of nervousness hit him one more time as his escort pushed open the two doors after stepping to his front, and no doubt there was the pastor. His appearance was grand, far more holy than what other pastors Zelos had seen in his days. He could almost assume this pastor was a denizen of heaven himself, or something of the sort...... No, that would be impossible. Then again, Zelos was declared the chosen one, so maybe it wasn't entirely impossible.

Stepping forward until he broke into a medium-speed walk perfectly alongside his escort, he met a pause as he stood to the right side of the small staircase which lead to the center of the aisle. Near a window stood the pastor, thinking to himself things Zelos couldn't understand. All Zelos could do at the moment was wait for the ceremony to start. And with a smile, put his hands behind his back, and closed his eyes once more...
