To touch things up, the boy turned after rising to his feet in facing behind himself to witness a new field of battle. The change in scenery, to ultimately reaching the climax of. .celebration? Variants of noisy voiceboxes to cloud his earlobes, fearing that this could become a little. .problematic, but not enough to falter like so against a new opponent in whom he heard by the name of. .Noel. The standardized to be completely unscathed when it came to clothe; and realized that previously hae he only used one tool. No bother, the boy was simply ready for whatever came to pass. Hardened flooring to take on his waltz along the perfected ground that would be completely covering what was deemed to possibly be something epic, Haku placed himself onto the casino's centerface. .but preferably the "L".

"Ah. .Buster chan. I see that peace and focus wasn't as planned this time around. I'll make sure to thank you for this one after it's over with."

A smile crossed along the boy's lips while his cranium rose to eye what had been above him. Any advantages, any disadvantages. .the spacial radius of his area by far being to his leisure, or so he hoped. With patience, he simply awaited; a left arm to bend and his palm relaxing against his waistline as hazeled oculi glanced forth for a entry.

Proceeding down the busy street was none other than Noel Vermillion. There was a certain confidence in her stride, as she had just come out of a victory in the first round of the tournament. But she knew she couldn't relax just yet. Especially considering who her second round opponent was. A ninja named Haku. From what she had heard, he was a very skilled fighter, but she was ready for anything.

Noel caught sight of a casino. In front of which her fight was to take place. She looked over the people standing in front of it. Were those... Pimps?

"I don't think they should be here..." She thought.

Green eyes then shifted to a figure standing in front of that same building. A young man. He seemed to be waiting for someone, so Noel figured he was her opponent. She jogged up to his location and came to stand on the exclamation point of the ground's writing.

"Hello. You must be Haku. I'm Noel Vermillion. Nice to meet you." She said with a friendly smile and a polite bow. The ex-Lieutenant wanted to start on friendly terms.

Pleasantries out of the way, Noel reached behind her back and drew the twin pistols called Bolverk from their holsters. In one smooth motion, she took her signature stance, holding the left gun vertically next to her head and the right gun horizontally across her flat chest.

"Well then, let's get started." She said. It seemed she was inviting the male to make the first move.

"That. .won't be an issue."

And with that being said, the boy took no sense of hesitation in his actions. His left to go hand in hand with his partner; a quick draw of sorts against the futuristic being against him. The supernatural began it's systematic motions while his right had gone into it's recited jutsu. Though the system couldn't have gone into any signs of disruption, he'd bring his cranium down; hazeled oculi locked onto the female gunslinger within range. The effortless would have taken sudden effect before the suggested and imminent gunfire would have been released, hurling it onto the flooring between the two combatants. However, that distinctive senbon currently serving as the primary attachment while it's drilling into the artificial unveiled the tagging; flagging so fluently along the tanto of the tools bearings. After such things were done, the boy's coloration underwent the change in chakra occurrence. .

". .Hijutsu."

Issuing the potentials of defense, and yet offense behind his motives, Haku simply remained motionless through the heaviness of such expelled chakra that would soon encase him wholly and taking the form of a streaming violet. The manifestations to follow suit with his prepared jutsu could only develop all the more; the boy's Hyoton energies to increase on every second of borrowed timing behind the foe climbing into a stance that he hadn't known of. To further clarify, the intent on creation hadn't been to attack; not just yet. .but to instead render Haku all the more capable and ready for the oncoming shortly.

The signal was given to begin. Her opponent had jumped the gun a bit, but it didn't matter much. The ex-lieutenant was on the attack. She dashed to her left, which would be her opponent's right. She then rushed forward towards him, thrusting her right gun forward and firing it.

"Chain Revolver!"

Whether or not the shot hit, this would activate Noel's Drive, signified by her body taking on a black aura. If the first advance was avoided, Noel would pursue him for the next move. he would jump while rotating in the air, bringing her left gun down on the male's head while firing it. If it hit, this would damage him and knock him back. She would follow by throwing her right gun like a boomerang. When and if it reached him, it would draw him back in with its spinning as it returned to Noel's hand. And once it got there, she would cross her arms in front of her chest and fire a single shot from her left gun aimed for the opponent's chest, finishing the combo.

Twirling Bolverk and returning to her original stance, Noel would watch for any retaliation. However, this would only happen if none of the hits were blocked or parried.

{ Quick Time - Clouded Defense. }

The seconds passed. .and the realization couldn't have been expected until now. The significance that read itself upon Haku's facials to take the appearance of a smile; and within seconds had the views answered themselves. A sudden purpose; a reasoning behind his motives were there soon after, devouring each eaten particle of metal that touched upon the chakra-infused defense. Unable to dent, or leave a scratch on his creation to protect himself, the boy glanced on at her motions with her gun control. Being that he had been widely aware that this could be her only threat to he and his own planned thoughts to go beyond that of this, he readied another moment in mind for the secondary.

". .Ice Release, Ice Dome!"

. .Ice; crawling and grazing against each other as it formed quickly to defend their master of honing, rendering each bullet thrown to be virtually null to the abnormal from the mist ninja. The uniqueness in the palms of Haku, he'd make sure at all costs that she'd remember his capabilities in the end, one way or another. The withstanding dome of an icy nature would only grow in strength, the organic to escape from his honed power and usage of the Suiton and Futon energies. .to expel and release with something more; something that even she couldn't have expected. For the obvious and the realistic would a cold embrace take hold of this completed jutsu; issuing the welcoming of a misty view throughout his radius and still, clearly unmoved by the victim's onslaught.

Audible bangs to bring out what limits she had, meeting the boy's expectations to trust in himself and his own. His right knee to bring itself down while further surrounding himself in something that improved every second that it grew. Collecting ice that escaped his chakra supply would prove unlimited to the norm. .whom he could consider the opposition in comparable sight and knowledge. His palms to flatly press against the artificial below him, the superior would commence with strengthening a steady defense of ice against Noel's attempts at breaking he, and his creation. He couldn't. .and would never allow such.

A bit lengthy of sorts but, very much smart enough to include, his dome of ice covered him with just enough timing to execute the normal on saving himself, and to exact what he seemingly would view as his own means of revenge. By far would it prove itself completely futile on the gunslinger's behalf; the ultimate defense to prove her attacks meaningless and lacking in the art of priority with a single action of the boy's strategy. By all costs would the battlefield be controlled through his actions, and it would begin. .right about now. The forceful dome in which he'd been forced to pull from his defensive mindset would succumb to something more than it's primary; nullified cracking of bullets still bouncing from the upper and lower levels of a simplistic, but effective way of handling things at this moment.

Small in comparison this dome, it's effects behind packing what potential it has wouldn't go inexplained. Luminating above all else had been the struggling chakra in which it contained, blowing outwardly from the solidified manifestation before he and the opposition. A gaseous appearance made itself known, ushering what looked to be a growing intent on casting out what he could against someone like she. It was then that he realized. .someone like her wouldn't be too much of a pushover, or would she? A bulging appearance had it taken, awaiting another chakra build as he began to press much harder onto the covering casino floors that supported even the most strongest of ability from the two as of current. In preparation, it wouldn't have been too long by all means until it could. .simply end.

Noel drew back as the ice sphere was formed. The Chain Revolver Drive was activated however, so the opening move wasn't for nothing. Jumping back a few feet, Noel shivered from the cold and observed the dome.

"So he can control ice like Major Kisaragi." She thought.

The ice looked very thick. But as the kid's song goes,

"Can't go over it, can't go under it, can't go around it, we gotta go through it."

And Noel would need a lot of firepower to get through that ice. Luckily, she had just the thing. The ex-Lieutanant jumped into the air and rapidly fired both guns at the dome. The shots were unlikely to break it, but they would weaken it for the Coup de Grace. The guns of Bolverk morphed into the Zero-Gun Thor, a bazooka. Noel fired it in midair, sending a large missile flying at the ice dome. Upon impact, the missile exploded in a firey blaze that would likely destroy the dome and possibly damage the opponent. Noel would land on the ground and aim at the shattered dome with to take advantage of the possible temporarily off-guard moment. She would fire six shots from each pistol at the male. If they hit, he would be damaged even more. If the male was hiding in the dome, he would likely not be able to avoid the fired missile. But the chance of the shots fired hitting were slim, since the surrounding area was misty.

An active gunslinger. .he very much respected that, but wouldn't just allow anything to go by and detain him like so. Inspite of the defense merely driving her attacks away like it should be, the impressive dome of ice gave out it's two scenarios of a surfaced choice that he had been aware of while she took air. The strengthened and regenerative shielding of this dome had only been the tip of of the iceberg by far; readying his time to allow what seemed to be her attempt at a preemptive strike. How far she had been willing to go with this. .would have been the highest extent of insanity if her thoughts were that he'd allow the materialistic piece of refined weaponry to implode and end the prodigy's reign of easily controlling the vicinity.

{ Quick Time - Shattering Ice Sphere. }

Eyes to widen on impulse, catching that Noel's being had been within the confines of a skyward means of attack! He turned after his focus had laid off of the half-done preparation of his secondary, his stature perfect at this time while his attention remained upward to visually see the oncoming attack that she furiously brought down upon him. His attempt at his first chance on striking her wouldn't go without; the primary choice to be abandoned for the exact chance at a first catch of taking the lead, ultimately. Clearly unphased, the dome soon after succumbed to the boy's orders, announcing on a mental note the capabilities of catching the foe from above and this being in more than one way to strike. .and possibly stop her permanently.

Aside from these bullets miserably missing the initial being that of Haku, he'd make sure that this covered the complete radius of control behind his actions. During her process of coming downward onto the furious defensive turtle, is when he released the phenomenal before her very eyes. His right and left hands conjoined from within, the increase of Hyoton energies to cause that rift of reverberated functions from outside of his placement..and suddenly is when everything fell into p l a c e. .!

"Blasting Ice Crystal. .!"

Taking the form of large chunks of shrapnel, various shards of ice from one size to the next followed suit on the very target for a simple act of revenge; Noel. Slicing fluently through these winds, his dome shattered without hesitation, but to protect it's precious creator. The blasts from the respective guns that she held so proudly to be rendered utterly useless to the boy and his potential continued on it's onslaught before she could even try firing off the missile with reaching standard position. By far would it take some thought in her actions while she remained above the playing field; so much air being covered that she couldn't even try to counter what awaited her. The widescale attack from the growing that remained dormant below had indeed been underestimated by the female, but even Haku wondered as he watched on from below, brandishing a senbon from his obi.

Should the shards strike at all, she'd have to abandon what thoughts she could have had on firing the missile that she intended on ending this in any way possible; but she'd have to take a full brunt from an outward spread of ice that she wanted. .so much more. By far had the prodigy been safe, aware of what was caused could end the battle that could have been deemed something different. A series of lacerations would be observant, ripping through with clothe she donned. The larger chunks would potentially send her from his vicinity and a few feet away due to such force that followed from his blasting jutsu. However. .

"Mmm, there you are. ."

In remembrance to his previous, he'd take a shortened waltz over to the area where the senbon was hurled. To worry about the velocity of the previous reaching hadn't been within mindful thought, but this would have indeed. These seconds of time to be taken, the boy would kneel down as digits from his left hand would grasp the implanted partner of his and hurl them both via the occupation of both upper appendages into the skies above on meeting Noel's visuals above him. It would take some thought of moving from this, but could she. .?

As Noel was about to pull out Thor, she saw the spears of ice coming for her. She knew she wouldn't be able to shoot the missile now, because it would hit the spears instead of the opponent and explode too soon, causing more damage to Noel herself than the intended target. Thinking quickly, Noel converted Thor back to the twin pistols of Bolverk and began a countermeasure. Aiming forward, she fired aiming to shoot the projectiles out of the air before they reached her. She succeeded with some of them, but others came too fast and struck her.

"Agh!"

Wincing in pain, Noel took injuries to various parts of her body plus a small nick on her cheek. Falling back to the ground, she also saw the needles thrown at her. She parried these in the same way the did the ice shards, shooting them away with her left gun and blocking the ones that got close with the right gun's barrel. Noel did a backflip in midair and landed with her left leg bent and her right leg out, holding herself low to the ground.

Now it was time to strike back. She sprung up from her crouch, rushed to the right and dashed forward toward the enemy, firing her gun and activating Chain Revolver once again. Pursuing the opponent, Noel pointed both guns at the opponent's midsection and fired once point blank, spun around and delivered an ax kick to his head with her left leg, and for the finishing move...

"Spring Raid!"

The combination culminated in the technique known as Type III: Spring Raid, a blindingly fast upward flash kick with her right leg, that if successful, would strike his chest and knock him upwards. This combination was executed in rapid succession thanks to the effect of her Drive, Chain Revolver, so avoiding the first move would be quite difficult, and if the first hit landed, the rest of the combo would be next to impossible to escape.

(A note: I'm not entirely sure that Haku threw senbon at Noel, so if I messed up, let me know and I'll fix the post.)

{ Quick Time - B e l i e v e. }

It wouldn't have taken too much effort in assessing Noel's flight path and awareness until. .she revived herself before him. The ultimate form of disrespect clouded the prodigy, his crouch to already be in motion before she could have thought to try something so close and yet, so personal. The edgy gunslinger gave the boy something notice on a matter of sheer desperation behind her actions, allowing her to reach a plateau of all reactors possible, and address this problem of taking such an attack previously. The fated face to face both had on that exact moment literally caused him to phase from the outskirts of his once known area of placement; reverberated touches on her appearance to reaching him by far threw him for that sudden loop until reality further made things. .clear to him!

The propelled shinobi took air almost instantly, arriving from that apparent timing to dodge the girl's attempts at killing what lead he was currently in. An aerial action was indeed taken, spinning fluently and riding the defiance of gravity for those moments until it was time to issue that new plan of stopping her entirely. The first wave of his partners narrowly missed her on falling from the barrage he spreaded earlier with high expectations to claim victory, but the impressive will always strive to do more. After landing, the afterskid-like motions were to keep the boy well-balanced while she had clearly missed yet again. A right hand to act quickly, the impulsive event causing another to escape the boy's digits that once coiled, following up with another. The two not coming off as aimless, he'd began to concentrate on what could square off against--Yes. .to concentrate.

Welled chakra to gather from within the boy's lining of supply, the aura of a destructive kekkei genkai to reflect on the outer appearance. A flow of his four primary limbs to be in full sync with the trusted fusion of his own, he'd ready himself for a closeness that enhanced even his power and speed against her. Inspite of the exceeded levels of his concentrated nature, Haku followed suit and picked up speed while the two senbon were reaching for the hands of his opposition, an attempt to disarm her fully. By all means would the defenseless remain that way; surely attempting to break her in anyway possible.

". .Again."

The augmented ninja soon after picked up speed of his own, rushing her forcefully as he coursed within her range behind her. His attempt at closing he distance was fully there; reaching to pull two kunai from their respective places on his waistline. He was more than prepared to waste what was needed to catch her. But as he hoped for her, she needed to stand on guard alongside himself.

ooc; The senbon previously you were fine on dodging, which I mentioned in this post. So, no need in worrying. They were thrown in hopes that a follow up would occur but, that changed and now we are settled to continue on.

Noel stopped her actions after seeing that she was evaded again. Her eyes followed the male as he moved and caught him throwing more needles at her. Reacting quickly, Noel shot them both away with her left gun and continued her pursuit. Keeping her left gun pointed forward, she was sure to cover all of her bases. She pointed her right gun behind and continued watching. As soon as the male positioned himself behind her, that was the time to strike.

"Gotcha!"

Noel fired the right gun twice, aiming for his midsection and being careful not to hit his head and risk breaking the No Killing rule. She then turned around and thrust her left gun into his chest while firing it, using the technique known as Type II: Bloom Trigger. If successful, Haku would be damaged and knocked away. If not, she still had a few tricks.

The. .perfect opportunity to test his own limits at the hands of a skilled gunslinger in her own right. Balance being completely key to reaching her and catching her off guard at some point, he'd realize soon after that dodging those bullets of a first means of disposal would be the only way he could reach what looked to be Noel's strategy of possibly claiming what damage that she could. Unfortunately. .it wouldn't happen. Soles to increase in velocity, the boy's run to pick up heavily on the natures of a very strong chakra and eventually switching onto his side to gradually tilt his pattern of flipping over Noel's thought of success. Yes, the trust she devoted into what she possessed. .could only go so far when it came to the prodigy himself.

{ Right Trigger - C L O S U R E. }

His limits were obvious on the standard air time. But the graceful shinobi consumed what time he needed to maintain the art of aerial movement. Soles to kiss the flooring of this casino, the boy to catch peripherals of the oncoming secondary. The nimble and reflexive to further prove itself out as Haku performed the mediocre and yet, the inevitable on reaching her much quicker. Another flipping motion to occur during his time of need, and transitioning successfully to face her. But. .she read the movements and thought a few steps ahead? Eyes to lay upon the obvious, but so close in his visuals. How thoughtful of the female fighter, but something had to change. Surely. .she couldn't have wondered otherwise pertaining to what she's put her devotion into this entire battle. He'd. .show her!

Again, the reflexive to reveal itself in the boy's concentration and sheer speed in motioned combat. His right to take caution through the usage of his palm while removing the gun-wielding left arm of hers from his vision and to follow up with something of his own. After nullifying what means of offense she could have, the boy proceeded to bring his right arm forth in aiming toward her facial region. His forearm being close enough to bring a pretty mean aftershock behind the impact, it'd be smart for her to figure this out. But if she were to dodge via throwing her cranium back or simply moving downward to avoid his attempt, the boy would indeed meet her halfway with relieving himself of the first and bring his right knee upward to press into her stomach region. Should any of these land, she'd by far sail from the boy's range.

He's dodging again? This was getting annoying. Noel had to think of a way that she'd hit him for sure. Not letting down her guard down for a second, Noel continued watching and spotted a fatal flaw in his plan. That moment that he was in the air left him wide open, and the ex-lieutenant would take full advantage of that.

"I've got you now!"

Both arms moved up above her head and aimed straight for him before opening fire. Ten shots were loosed, aimed at his airborne form. If they hit, he would be badly damaged and fall rather limply. Noel would then jump to meet him and spin in midair while firing four shots from each gun with the technique Type XIII: Revolver Blast, which had a high chance of hitting at such a close range.

Noel landed on her feet and waited for the opponent to reach the ground. Once he did, if he didn't retaliate immediately, Noel would point her right gun down at him and fire three times in rapid succession, damaging him and knocking him back as part of the special attack known as Silencer.

. .And yet she continues to think those steps ahead. Closer than usual, the timing on bringing her guns out to open through such trigger happy means would become dangerous if not. .fatal. His way of handling things would be to first literally save himself from the oncoming barrage she threw at him in such quick succession. Now, something like this to be unexpected, but also all the more expecting from a long ranged fighter but he'd have to close the gap somehow. Around a time like this, the only way he'd freely be able to do that was to simply. .disrupt.

{ Quick Time - Chakra Burst. }

Though standardized, it served as the perfect catalyst for this moment of the proclaimed 'inescapable'. Applying both thumbs together at chest length while facing the oncoming once more, the boy to lift off and change his pattern within those seconds of time. A propelled Haku's hands began to perform the abnormal behind the actions of what was deemed as usual to many ninja; removing himself from the fray of open fire. Fragments of chakra to reverberate, creating a concussive force to send him back as the extensive upper appendages caused his directional turn to hurl him back. How quick he could have moved very much left things challenged in his favor; narrowly escaping death this time around against the most accurate beyond his time. Upon coming down, the controlled fall was given, his arms to fully support the series of backflips behind securing things.

Her blasts of an accurate nature of miss him completely, the boy was completely free to. .persist. A faster ninja within the soles to pick up, unreadable velocities to be undetected upon reaching Noel's ranged setting. But on meeting the latter's radius, he noticed that an opening secured itself entirely. The opportunity all the more golden for him, he'd take advantage of stealing her moment altogether a little after she shattered her own defense. He halted his acts of predation, and slid against the casino grounds, a crowd of many to expose an open field all the more while scattered casualties were quickly removing themselves from the way of battle. He'd grow close enough to bring his digits back around his waistline and pull what seemed to be ten of these senbon for a sole purpose of shooting her from the initial spot; this all happening before her.

While the tools were pulled from his obi, he quickly edged himself around her area, the inches to close up while his gap reached that end. Digits to hold themselves outward, the release soon began. From inbetween the boy's finger had things worsened for Noel's sake. Velocity from the augmented hands via concentrated chakra would enhance the boy's traction behind both tosses within her ranged setting. Though stationary, he'd have to cover more ground in order to land that. .finishing blow. By all means. .he felt it was indeed time.

". .Watch me."

Though taking complete cover of the right, peripherals constantly eyed her vantage point while an open Noel remained stationary and within the clutches of harm's way. Around this time, he'd settle himself behind the gunslinger. They weren't aimless; but she'd have to find those ways of her own to remove them from specific spots to his choosing. Now a victim of this widespread attack, the vulnerabilities against her were heavily high. The four appendages were susceptible, aiming for both thighs and forearms in those attempts to disarm yet again. After the series ended for his first plan of revenge, he'd attempt to meet up with her from that 25 feet opening. Hands to conjoin while watching on at the results, flipping through for another round at his planned jutsu.

It didn't seem possible, but the crafty male had found a way to dodge in midair. But that didn't mean she was done shooting. Noel adjusted her aim with both guns to the place where the shinobi was being propelled and fired five more shots. It was unlikely, or so she hoped that her opponent could boost himself away again. Whether or not those hit, Noel would follow up by jumping to his location, doing a front flip in midair and delivering an axe kick to his chest that would knock the wind out of him if it landed. The kick would drive him to the floor where Noel would fire Three Silencers to knock him away.

--Your best. Soles to skid along the artificial refinery that's been supporting the two throughout a battle such as this one. But as he came down, peripherals to eye what seemingly took the form of another and branded itself as. .typical, coming from the Lieutenant. Eventually, he'd come to that fated slide while bullets of a decent timing were unable to reach him from such a distance while speed took it's importance to new levels. Afterimages from the chakra dash began to reveal; and simmer down in the process after a sudden stoppage took place from the unearthly travel. Upon coming down however, his left hand at chest length readied this technique just in time for a moment that she felt the prodigy would come off as 'cornered'. However at a time like this, only one thing would come to mind on standing against a closeness so suddenly. .

{ Quick Time - Timestep. }

The phase in time would consume his entirety, the change of direction to completely allow Haku to adhere to the adaptations of the casino grounds. His body to undergo the sudden change of disappearance, it would also revert within a matter of seconds from his first point to the next. Did he attack? Of course not, but to instead compose himself in the eye of a gunslinger like she.
