Appearance: (Pasted from wikia, to save time) Of small, slender build and with a youthful, feminine visage, Himura Kenshin cuts quite a different figure than would be expected of the legendary Hitokiri Battōsai and his appearance belies his twenty-eight years of age, making him look roughly ten years younger, but he is easily recognized by his infamous distinguishing features: mid-back length red hair tied in a thick ponytail and a cross-shaped sword scar on his left cheek.
Kenshin's hair is thick and abundant, with all of the shorter frontal hairs falling across his face as bangs rather than being in the ponytail at the nape of his neck. During the revolution, Kenshin wore his ponytail higher and at the end of the series, he has cut the ponytail entirely and wears his hair evenly at about chin length. Kenshin's eyes, too, are unusual, being a deep violet. In the anime series, when Kenshin's eyes change to reflect his psychological reversion to Hitokiri Battōsai, their color shifts from violet to gold.

Personality: (courtesy of wiki again) Soft-spoken, serene and humble, Himura Kenshin's usual demeanor suits his effeminate appearance perfectly. Always willing to put others before himself, both in terms of well-being and social standing, Kenshin usually refers to others with the noble honorific of "-dono" while nearly always speaking of himself with the particularly humble pronoun "sessha" (translated by Viz as "this one") and ending his phrases with the formal verb "de gozaru" (translated by Media Blasters as phrases like "that it is" or "that I am"). He carries himself with an air of amicable temperance, politely conversing with the people he encounters and freely giving his meager services to those who need a hand. Kenshin doesn't hesitate to put himself in the path of harm to shield those around him and often attempts to diffuse contentious situations with soft, calming words and a somewhat clownish personality involving feigned clumsiness and his trademark interjection "oro" (a unique pronunciation of "ara"). These traits lead those unfamiliar with Kenshin to view him as ineffectual or easily exploitable, but more perceptive people become aware in short order that his gift for placatory eloquence and veiled redirection of disagreeable situations suggest a deep wisdom belied by his youthful, unassuming visage.

History: Tormented by his past as a hitokiri, Kenshin has developed an acute appreciation for life and has taken a vow in his heart to never again kill another person and to do everything within his power to protect people from being killed. This vow is the defining characteristic of Kenshin's personality and the primary motivation for his transition into a rurouni. Despite this, however, he holds his own existence cheap and carries in his heart a grievous guilt that prevents him from becoming emotionally close to the people around him and compels him to a life of humble service and selfless personal sacrifice. Even with his prodigious skill as a prolific swordsman, Kenshin refrains from wielding his great combat strength for his own sake, drawing his sword only for the well-being of others when words fail to appease. Though unwilling to simply be killed by unrelated attackers, Kenshin freely accepts that any grudges against his past self are well-deserved; he remembers the face of every person he has wronged as the Hitokiri Battōsai and will face their hatred or judgment without complaint, believing that he does not deserve the same happiness as others. Spending much of his alone time in quiet contemplation of his past misdeeds and future retribution, Kenshin often ponders what the right path toward redemption is and laments each life lost due to his weakness. As such, he has a tendency toward trying to solve problems all by himself and alienating his would-be allies with secrecy so as to keep them from becoming involved in his risky endeavors. Having lived his own life carrying heavy regrets, Kenshin is reluctant to judge others for their personal actions, beliefs or mistakes and always offers hopeful encouragement so that those who have stumbled onto the wrong path might redeem themselves in the future. However, when forced to draw his sword against those who abuse their power and undervalue the lives of others, Kenshin's calm temperament gives way to a marked intensity capable of intimidating even other skilled swordsmen and can go so far as to become a powerful fury, despite his compulsion toward diplomacy.

Powers: Vast Magical Skills, using the Spells while in his Normal human form using high level defensive spells like Barrier VIII, Haste VIII, Blink VIII, and Slow IX, and the Physical attack Thunder X, but when the Mateus becomes the Emperor of Hell he gains much more powerful magic in his arsenal such as, Starfall X, Blind XVI, Curse XVI, Dispel XVI, Flare XVI, Slow XVI, but he also whenever he physically damages someone he drains some of their health to help him restore his wounds.

Weapons: A Mage staff by the name of Mateus' Malice.

Appearance:The Emperor wears light, golden colored armor with purple robes underneath. His hair is blond and spiked, with an extra-long ponytail. Black and white stripes trace his ribs on his chestplate, and demonic looking faces embellish his waist and back. His gauntlets sport extended claws. The Emperor wears purple makeup on his eyes and lips, and a purple crown depicting a serpent.

He has at times worn a darker outfit, with a hairstyle that resembles a pair of demonic horns. Because of his soul was split apart to dominate both sides of the afterlife, he carried on two appearances, which each represented the specific spiritual element the form embodies: The first half, Hell Emperor, Emperor of Hell, or simply Dark Emperor, depicts him in an almost bestial light: a nightmarish form with a skull-like face and razor-sharp teeth, and snakes on his head similar to Medusa. He is covered with spines, at least some of which are also present near the torso. He wears a dark cape or cloak and has clawed hands.

Personality:Being the ruler of Palamecia, the Emperor is arrogant, intelligent and manipulative. He is polite when referring to his enemies but at the same time is quick to call them insects or worms. He is a misanthrope, harboring a hatred of humanity, declaring humanity to have a flawed sense of justice and having forsaken love, and being inherently violent. He views himself as the only one capable of ruling as Emperor, as evidenced by his first lines upon returning from Hell, telling Leon the world can only have one Emperor.

History: The Emperor begins his campaign for world domination by using a massive army of creatures summoned from Hell. Several kingdoms like Fynn, Kashuan and Deist resist, but are subdued. In the case of the militarily-powerful homeland of the Dragoons, Deist, the Emperor orders the poisoning of their wyverns' water supplies, leaving the Dragoons powerless.

The novelization of the game develops on the origin of his powers, attributing it to Satan, lord of Pandaemonium and Mateus makes a pact with Satan so as to summon demonic forces into the mortal world. In the novel Muma no Meikyū the demon that corrupts the minds of Palamecian emperors originates from the beginning of the world when it became trapped within the indestructible "Stone of Iludia" and swore revenge by any means. After ascending to the throne, Mateus exiled his mother, Airu, to the deserts of Palamecia, and yet she still spends her life trying to find a way to save him, although she never manages to do this during the novel.

The royalty of Kashuan, which survived the Palamecian Empire's attack, founded the Wild Rose Rebellion alongside the kingdom of Fynn. The empire attacks Fynn to destroy the resistance and after capturing Fynn, the Emperor begins the construction of the fearsome Dreadnought.

After Firion and the rest of the party gather the Sunfire and Princess Hilda is captured by the Dreadnought while traveling to Kashuan on Cid's airship, the Emperor replaces the captive Hilda with a Lamia Queen. After the Dreadnought is destroyed, the Imperial Lamia is taken to Altair, and later felled. The Emperor announces a tournament at the Palamecian Coliseum, and makes Hilda the prize. Firion and his comrades attempt to rescue her alongside Prince Gordon of Kashuan.

At the Coliseum, the party meets the Emperor personally for the first time. After defeating a Behemoth that was pit against them, Firion and his friends attempt to kill the Emperor as they approach him to take the prize, but it is a trap, and the Emperor locks the party away. Meanwhile, the Emperor continues his assault on the land above.

After the Liberation of Fynn, the Wild Rose Rebellion acquires the Ultima Tome, but by that time the Emperor has summoned a giant Cyclone and crushed the towns of Paloom, Altair, Gatrea and Poft, and is now approaching Fynn. The party makes their way inside by summoning a Wyvern, and makes another assassination attempt on the Emperor. The Emperor is killed, and the Dark Knight Leon proclaims himself Emperor of Palamecia and takes over the Palamecian army.

After breaking into Castle Palamecia, the party confront the Dark Knight and the Emperor appears in the hall in a new demonic form. On his death, Mateus arrived on Hell and defeated Satan making him the Emperor of Hell. Ricard summons the Wind Drake to get the party out of Palamecia while he confronts the revived Emperor, who slaughters him with ease.

While it is not known if the Emperor intentionally allowed for himself to be killed to arrive to Hell, given the fact he already had power over Hell-spawn, it is likely it was his true intention all along. After killing Ricard, Mateus summons Pandaemonium to the mountains where Palamecia once stood, and resumes his world-domination campaign. The party travels through the Jade Passage and breaks into castle Pandaemonium and after defeating each and every one of the Emperor's hellish generals, Firion and his friends confront the Emperor head on. The Emperor is defeated, and fades away.

Ru Yi Jin Gu Bang - Magic Golden-Clasped Rod

This magical weapon was a gift from the Eastern Sea Dragon King. Originally, the legends foretold that the staff will only awaken until it's true master approaches it. Wukong is that master. Upon his conflict with the magical staff, the weapon began to glow; indicating that it has found it's chosen wielder. The staff itself weighs approximately 8100kg (17,881 lbs), making it impossible for anyone excluding those with super lifting strength to hold it's unorthodox weight.

The rod itself, along with Wukong, can multiply into many numbers depending on how many enemies that it's wielder has to face. It can also extend and expand into many size that fits it's master's liking. Normally, it's commonly use as a sewing needle to patch up his clothes. The primate usually keeps his staff hidden within his ear if he wishes to travel lightly from time to time.

Wukong has the abnormal ability to change into 72 species and/or items. With this ability, the primate is less likely to be found in the modern days. He can change into anyone or anything that his body can normally shape shift into. The only difficult transformation that the Monkey King can't accomplish is to fully change in a human's appearance--The result of this will expose his tail, despite how many times he tries. Due to this trouble task of removing his tail while undergoing human transformation, Wukong eventually gave up and decided to wrap his tail to make it look more like a belt.

Not only that his body can be affected by transformation, but the Monkey King can also use even a strand of hair and transform it into whatever he wishes it to be. Not only that, but he can easily use a bunch of strands of his hair in order
to materialize them into living, breathing, versions of himself that are capable to fight on their own. It is said that he managed to decimate armies with this technique.

x-Multiplication-x

This sort of ability is horrifying to use, but it provided the primate with enough power to handle his own whenever he is crowded by a hoard of enemies. He can multiply his head up to three while his arms can multiply up to six, he doesn't multiply his legs however. His magic rod can also multiply into three when Wukong resorts to this multiplication, making it much more easier for him to fight without having to change directions prior engaging in combat.

x-Superhuman Strength-x

This ability is a self explanatory. It was proven when he chopped down a enormous tree with the side of his hand... with one strike to the bark. Imagine what it could have done to a human body?

x-Superhuman Speed-x

The male is also known to have remarkable, but impossible speed, coming from his standard. He can travel over roughly 54,000 km in one somersault.

x-Body Petrification Spell-x

This spell allows Wukong to change weaker beings into a state of suspended animation. People rumored that this spell is actually stand for the 'Curse of the Stone Monkey King'; However, that rumor was proven to be false. Wukong rarely uses this ability whenever he wishes to rely on his own strength than having magic save him from his dire situations.

x-Water Avoidance Charm-x

This technique allows Wukong to sustain himself underwater with an unlimited period of time. Though, this charm doesn't allow him to fight while this technique is activated.

x-Fire Avoidance Charm-x

This technique allows Wukong to be astoundingly immune to the elements that relate to fire. Thankfully, this charm doesn't have the same drawback as the Water Avoidance Charm, allowing him to fight.

x-Wind Manipulation-x

Wukong can take control and create strong gales of wind, using them for transportation or attacking strategies. He is powerful enough to create windstorms by releasing a strong essence of magic to successfully do so.

x-Lock-Breaking Spell-x

Though the least common spells that Wukong knows, it allows him to open any lock automatically.

x-Summoning-x

Wukong is able to summon any Elemental God depending on his location. They are used when dealing with impossible odds that the monkey cannot deal with by himself.

x-Protective Spell Circle-x

This technique allows the user to build an protective, invisible wall that shields Wukong and those who are in the circle from demonic entities or hellish magic of any kind. Those who remain in the circle are safe unless:

1. The Monkey King deactivates the spell.

2. If one is foolish enough to step out of it.

x-Immortality and Invincibility-x

This ability was given to the Monkey King when he stole the royal peaches of immortality and the pill of invincibility, eating them before the gods have a chance to stop him. Those who try to bluntly attack him will have the same logical consequences as striking a mountain, it will leave little to no damage to the Monkey King. Even if he was decapitated, he'll grow it back in seconds. With this sort of permanent ability gained to him, he usually acts cocky and even tries to allow those to attack him.

[Note: Due to this attack being unimaginable unfair to others, I have nerfed this ability so that Wukong can be killed; even if it's by decapitation. However, he'll eventually come back to life. Prior to being revived, he won't remember his previous fight that he was slayed in. This may be out of character, but it's better that way. As for his durability, It's going to be harder than a substance that is physically way weaker than diamond. That is all.]

x-Fiery Golden Eyes-x

Wukong gained this ability while being trapped in a large furnace for 49 days straight. Strangely enough, his eyes were smoked into what is now called the 'Fiery Golden Eyes'. With this, he is able to see up to roughly 500,000 km by day and probably 300,000 km by night. Moreover, he can see through any disguise, illusion, and transformation.

x-Fighting Style-x

The Monkey King is a pure natural at fighting, especially when it's hand-to-hand combat. He is able to use many weapons he is given, but he prefers to use his Magical Staff more than anything else.

x-Intelligence-x

Despite the fact that he studied hard while learning the ways of Taoism, Wukong isn't very bright. Although, the male highly knows about almost anything related to magic. Not only that, but he is extremely crafty that he makes clever ways to trick and defeat his opponents.

x-Ability to communicate with Horses-x

After Wukong was purposely placed as the stable boy of heaven due to some sick joke that was played on him, he now has the ability to control any horse that'll make it obey him.

Wukong is a skilled doctor as he studied traditional medicine from his first master that teach him the ways of Taoism.

-Appearance-

Wukong's appearance looks of that of an anthropomorphic primate with rock solid skin, which is covered in his natural fur when he was born. He wears a Taoism Monk Robes that veils an indestructible golden chain mail, a circlet that is magically enhanced by the feather plumes of a phoenix, and boots that allow him to walk in midair and clouds. His lower body isn't covered by anything, unless those are counting his robes that he wears throughout his journey. Occasionally, he usually change his outfit into different clothing so that he could clean his dirty ones.

-Personality-

Wukong is known to be an arrogant, fearless, demonic monkey who also posses a vigorous fighting spirit when locked in combat with someone who is formidable. He believes in hope and has a strong sense of justice. On the plus side, the Monkey King is shown to be playful when around those he admires and/or cares about the most. He loves poems, scenic views, and eating. His strong side is his moxie, proving that there is nobody in existence that is stronger than he is. The male maybe overconfident, but he proves that he is the best whenever he defeats a strong opponent. His goal in life is to be stronger than himself, reaching the top until there is nowhere else to go. Once he gains his nearly impossible ideals, the male will most likely retire when there's nothing else for him to accomplish.

-History-

Long ago, Wukong used to be a statue that was place as a medium to protect a monkey-infested homeland he was destined to protect when the time comes. Once he was struck by a strong essence of magic, the primate was released from his suspended shell and lived his life as a young chimp. For unknown reasons, his home was destroyed by a severe thunderstorm; along with a flash flood that killed off most of his fellow simian companions, including their king. With this, the monkeys didn't know where to find refuge up to this point. Until, Wukong went to find a home for them, which was behind a large waterfall. With this, the monkey individuals entitled him as King along with calling the boy 'Handsome Monkey King'.

Even with this spectacular rank, Wukong went under depression when weeks came by; he was troubled by the laws of life and death that made him think that it was unfair. Then, he gained an idea: He wonders if there was an ability that'll cause him to be immortal as long as he wanted. It was the best plan he could come up with that his monkey followers support him by that idea. Determined to have immortality to himself, Wukong sets out on his journey to the west. Crossing two oceans by only a raft; the male eventually came across the cave of a Taoist immortal and was schooled for more than 6 years. During this, he acquired the art of the Transformation ability, cloud-traveling, and the technique to transform his hair into inanimate objects or living beings. In exchange, he was told to never show or demonstrate anyone else the abilities that he has learned.

Returning home from his journey, Wukong established himself as one of the most powerful and the most influential demons in the entire world. With this power, he decided to travel throughout the seas once more in order to search for a weapon of his choosing. This is where he came face to face with the dragon king, hoarder of the Monkey King's destined weapon that is called: Magic Golden-Clasped Rod. Strangely enough, the staff itself has the power to control the ebb and flow of the tides. While it's taken from it's rightful place, the sea threw itself into confusion and also placed fear into the magical beings of the deep. Prior of achieving his staff, he obtained the golden chain-mail, the phoenix feather-cap and the cloud-walking shoes that he victoriously taken from the four dragons of the sea.

As he came back from his journey, he demonstrated his new weapon to his followers. Eventually, this sort of uproar attracted attention to others with demonic powers who sought to have an alliance with the Monkey King himself. He created a brotherhood with some of the most powerful demons in the malicious bowels of hell itself, only for them to gather his soul along with his monkey followers who too were sentenced to die. Luckily, Wukong found out about this before they had the chance to actually execute the Monkey King and his followers. By this, he erased the names of him and his followers in the Book of Life and Death; With this, he was able to save his monkey denizens and escape out of hell itself. Though, the Kings of Hell were not pleased by this at all. So they, along with the Dragon Kings whom the Monkey King defeated, alerted the Jade Emperor of Heaven to beware of the monkey that is named Wukong.

Powers: She has the ability to make nightmares become reality, she is made up of black smoke that can solidify to where she is in a human form.
Weapons: She only uses weapons when need be, and when such a scenario arises, she uses anything around her.

Appearance: She is five feet and nine inches tall, her body frame is that of a slim one. She is not incredibally thin to where she looks anerexic though, and her muscle tone is average. Her black hair flows down to her waist, and is rather straight as if a hair straightener was used upon it.

Personality: She is rather sadistic, yet the longer the lives as a demon the more she learns to controll the sadist within her and become more open.

History: I wasn't always like this.. so eagar to spill blood forcibly from a tortured body all by my own twisted needs. I wasn't always so found of having a shower of crimson wash upon me as if to clean me of something unbeknownst to myself. Like all who start out within this world, I was inocent.. I was pure. An untouched soul in a world of turmoil and sin. However.. this, like many things within this vile world, could not remain intact. Many years have came since my demise, my death, and the end of my pure soul... yet it seems only yesterday that event had happened.
It was within my first life that I was named as I am called, Katiana Luis-Rose Parker.. a unique yet common name for a human as I once was. Can you imagine... a human becoming a demon..? That event, however, will be discribed at a later note.. a much later note. In any case, I was born in London in the year of 1869. The industrial revolution only ending twenty-nine years prior to my birth.. yet even when it had ended.. we were still living in a harsh time.
I had two brother, both being older than myself. One, Daimon Gunnar Parker, was just by three years. The other, Aiden Lowell Parker, by seven. Both them and my Father had jobs to try to support everyone, and yet even that was failing. I remember by the time I was seven, my Mother was hardly around.. and when she was always locked within her's and Father's room.. as if hiding something or hiding from something. I never seen much of her, other than her mad dash from the room out of the house, and reversed.
It was then that I was forced to began cooking for everyone, Father taking the food back to Mother where my siblings and I would hear arguing and crashing sounds. I was at a loss, especially when I knew that everyone knew something that I did not.. at least until I was of ten years old. At that age, Mother began to bring men home.. and soon after they would just appear on their own. Many would try to make advances on me, yet Mother would have none of that, and nor would my Brothers when they were at home. It was then that I knew what she was doing, and how she was aiding the men of our house in making ends meet. She was defiling herself, and, it was slowly tearing the family apart.
When I had turned seventeen, Father had left us and headed for the heavens above.. if such a place ever existed before.. and Mother barely came home anymore. It was just my brother's and I, and it was very hard for us to get by.. yet we pushed on and managed. I always offered to go out and find work, yet they would not have it. They feared I would do the same as Mother, and stoop to such a low level... perhaps even lower than she.This kept on until I was nineteen.. for a whole year we haven't seen our Mother, and my brothers kept me from going out to search for her. They feared what might have happened to her, and feared worse that something might happen to myself if I went out. Especially with the discovery of two recent body's that were shreaded and defiled.. someone who were defiling the already defiled women.
One day, I just sat and thought about Mother when awaiting my brothers.. they were unusually late and I began to get antsy. I did not enjoy being couped up within the home, especially when alone to let my fears cloud my thoughts. Eventually I had gotten up, and left without letting a second thought cross my mind. I may have been a young woman.. but I so despretly needed my mother.I searched the streets to no avail, though I had asked many questions to all the lone men I came to pass. No one had seen her, or so they told me. This had upset me.. yet I did not let it turn my spirits to where I quit. I struggled on, fighting against my fears.
Finally, a male had acknowledged my concern and directed me towards an alley where all women in Mothers... business would be in a designated time. I thanked him all too quickly and rushed off, so excited to find my mother that it circumed my worry of the killer that was on the loose... that is until I had come across him. There in the darkness I froze as he worked to cut open a woman that was unfamiliar to me, trying to regain myself quickly to escape.. yet I couldn't. I just stood there petrified and watched, as if it was just a moving picture in front of my eyes. A nightmare I could not wake up from.
Only when it was over was I able to move, yet my knees where incredibly weak as I would fall to the ground as I went to back away. This fall alerted him and all too quickly he moved to me and dragged me away while covering my mouth. Before I knew it.. I was inside a home, strapped down and gagged. There he began to cut me open and tortured me until the lights perminantly went out within me. I do not know what he had then done with my body, as I know it was never seen after that... yet his other victums were.
After I had died, however, I managed to come back. I was so angry with what had happened.. at that monster.. my mother.. and myself. I so clung to feeling of revenge, wanting to make people suffer the way I had.. and suffer that of much worse. That is when the darkness surrounding me became me.. that is when I was reborn. A spawn of hell. That is the moment I came alive as the Demon I am today.

Other: Through out her time she came to love the feeling of blood washing up against her skin, and when it does she becomes fully sadistic. Only a few certain people are able to bring her back from this frenzy it throws her into, or she will regain once she completes her tasks.

History: Although no one knows when or where Inferno first appeared, he definitely exists. He took the shape of a sword in order to devour more souls and came to possess individuals to further his unholy cause. In his sword form, Inferno came to be known as Soul Edge. Those who held the Soul Edge were unable to escape from the curse of his evil powers. He continued to devour in darkness the souls of those who are led astray. Although he burns fiercely with the anguish and regret of the souls he had devoured, his blade shines with an icy gleam.
In the 16th century, Rock's father had bought the sword in an auction, but Cervantes, a pirate in the employ of Vercci, attacked Adams' ship and made off with the Soul Edge. He eventually learned to use his power, and began harvesting souls for the sword to feast on.

For two decades, Cervantes possessed the swords. Under Cervantes' control, Soul Edge often manifested himself as a pair of swords instead of just one. Many ventured to the small port town in Spain that Cervantes used as his base, and Cervantes destroyed them all easily. There was one, however, that proved to be more than a match for Soul Edge's power. This was Sophitia, a sacred warrior who was protected by Hephaestus, Greek god of the forge. During her battle with Soul Edge, Sophitia managed to actually destroy one of the twin swords. Although she was badly wounded, Soul Edge was nearly destroyed, and the loss of control caused Cervantes to lose his next battle to Taki. Another young warrior, Siegfried, stumbled upon Cervantes' body. Realizing that Cervantes was now useless to him, Soul Edge entered Cervantes' body and began a battle with Siegfried. Half of his power was gone, though, and Soul Edge was defeated. The victory turned out to be Soul Edge's, however, for when Siegfried took hold of the demonic blade, the essence of Soul Edge was able to possess the young warrior. Soul Edge used his remaining power to shower humanity with the Evil Seed, which he had been preparing all those years when Cervantes was dormant in Spain. The Evil Seed rained down all over the world, causing chaos and destruction unlike any in recorded history.

Soul Edge transformed Siegfried into the foul creature Nightmare, and used his new host to rebuild his strength. The destruction of one of the twin swords and the release of the Evil Seed had left Soul Edge depleted. With the help of several minions, Nightmare was able to harvest many souls to power Soul Edge. As he grew stronger and stronger, Soul Edge noticed that Siegfried's will was increasing as well. Unlike Cervantes, who had gladly accepted the unholy possession, the young knight was actually attempting to resist Soul Edge's control. As Nightmare, Siegfried used some of Soul Edge's power in an attempt to resurrect his dead father Frederick. Although he succeeded in creating an apparition of his father, Siegfried realized it was not real and began to resist Soul Edge even more. He finally freed his mind from Soul Edge's influence and was able to seperate himself from Soul Edge. By this time, however, he did not matter whether Soul Edge had a host or not. He had collected so many souls that his power was tremendous, and he was able to finally manifest himself in his true form.

A trio of warriors, Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi came to challenge the newly released Inferno. Normal humans would not have been much of a match for Inferno, but Kilik and Xianghua possessed mystical weapons that rivalled Inferno's power. Inferno killed Maxi during the battle (Maxi's death is non-canon), but the combined power of Kilik and Xianghua's weapons proved to be too much for Inferno. But neither Inferno, nor Soul Edge, was destroyed. Inferno had escaped back into the cursed blade, which Siegfried had reclaimed.

Soul Edge would make Siegfried do horrible things in his sleep however. He would kill many asleep, and when he woke up, he had no memory of it, but he would always be surrounded by corpses. Eventually, Siegfried succumbed to Soul Edge's power, and became the Azure Knight once more. One day however, at the Ostrheinsburg Chapel, Nightmare was challenged by Raphael to a fight. Nightmare accepted, and nearly won. However, a small spark of sanity appeared in the Azure Knight's mind once more.

That small spark fought Inferno in the Azure Knight's mind, which caused Nightmare to stand motionless. Raphael mustered what was left of his strength, and stabbed the sword in his eye. This weakened Inferno severely, and Siegfried managed to reclaim his body. He threw off the azure armor that he resented, and he almost destroyed it. Suddenly, Soul Calibur appeared, free from her prison within Soul Edge. Siegfried instinctively took Soul Calibur, and drove the blade through Soul Edge's eye.

Soul Edge still was not defeated, however. It bonded with Soul Calibur, rendering both powerless, and created Soul Embrace. Inferno escaped into the detestable armor that Siegfried once wore, but could not move without a host. Zasalamel appeared, and shared a wordless conversation with Inferno, before conducting a ritual to give the horrible soul of Soul Edge a body. Inferno, as Nightmare, then set out to reclaim himself, Soul Edge.

Eventually, Nightmare and Siegfried met at the Lost Cathedral. The Embrace was finally broken. Siegfried claimed Soul Calibur, while Nightmare took Soul Edge. They clashed, and the two powers leveled the Cathedral. Nightmare fell into a warped dimension, but even then Soul Edge sought power. Because Nightmare had been given a body by the evil and hatred that dwelled there, the sword and body ended up at Ostrheinsburg when they fell out of the void. Soul Edge stretched his evil roots into the azure armor. The shockwave admitted at the Cathedral spread an evil energy that made all of the sword's shards active. Now Soul Edge called out to them and they returned, both small and great. This included both the being Charade and Soul Edge's female half, which was being wielded by Cervantes. These pieces had been scattered by the Evil Seed, but they were now being called home. The sword drank them all in, and for the first time in decades, he was mostly whole again. But he still was not satisfied, and the sword continued to stretch into Nightmare. Now the Azure Knight's body, which had been formed from a lingering hatred and a tormented ghost, truly became Inferno.

Finally, drawn to the sword like a pulsating beacon, the sword's servants began to gather at Ostrheinsburg. The azure armor was no longer enough to contain the evil power, and so the power and mind of Soul Edge sank his roots into the Earth itself, and Ostrheinsburg became a cursed city, a vessel that would consume souls to further strengthen the sword. Siegfried, bonded to Soul Calibur, arrived to confront Nightmare and they fought once more. Nightmare injured Siegfried, forcing him to draw on Soul Calibur's power, Nightmare shattered Siegfried's crystal armor, but was impaled on Soul Calibur, seemingly robbing Soul Edge of its power for seventeen years.

Falcon is a fairly slim Caucasian male with golden blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. He dons a bright red flight jacket with a United Kingdom flag patched on the side of his clothing's, aviation goggles whenever Falcon flies his beloved biplane: The Hockenheim, a white scarf in front of his chest, red combat pants from easier mobility and flexibility, brown leather gloves, and his buckled leather boots used for fighting if boxing doesn't meets his expectations. The male is highly noticeable with his strong sense of justice, and his iconic smug grin that most friends, family, and fans acknowledge.

Falcon is pretty passive whenever he's locked into combat, or spend his time doing regular things other than just fighting. He's upbeat, pure-hearted, arrogant at times; but makes up for it with his will of achieving victory--Even if it means using every single bit of his strength and vitality that he has left.

-History-
Edward has spawned from a bloodline of experienced monarch pilots, the best set of flyers that Londo has to offer. His father; Pride Falcon, who spends his life as an archaeologist, left the Falcon family while Edward was still a child. The reason for this is that Pride was searching for the legendary Power Stones for unknown reasons why. Ever since then, Edward had a very bitter relationship with his father as time progressed.

During the time, Edward Falcon began to take in boxing with a new goal he had in mind instead of being an archaeologist or a part-time biplane flyer. He wanted to be noticed as the greatest champion boxer in the world. His true intentions of joining the fray was to go against Valgas; the World Strongest Fighter and Greatest Wrestler in the World. Falcon looked up to Valgas as an idol, wishing to be as strong as him. The road was long and treacherous, but he was determined and dedicated to face the champion in the ring one day.

Unfortunately, his life changed when his father mailed Edward the artifact that Pride was searching all these years: The Power Stone, which also draw attention to Captain Kraken and his Octopus Crew. Edward wasn't sure on why his father mailed him the stone, but he eventually found out the true reason once a fortune teller by the name of Rouge revealed his future. (Technically; she didn't explain much about what Edward should do, nor does she mention anything about Valgas' true nature.) Now, he travels the entire world in search for the Power Stones and to find the whereabouts of his father.

Personality: Dynamo is arrogant, but not cruel like most of X and Zero's foes are. He would talk to them like a friend would, and play his battles out like they were for sport. Although he claims total allegiance to Sigma, he doesn't seem to have anything personal against the Hunters, so it seems doubtful that Sigma infected him with the virus. His running away seems to indicate cowardice, but it also signifies intelligence. Other foes that X and Zero have faced have died, being unwilling to run away even when things looked slim for their victory. Dynamo was smart enough to live to fight another day, or so it would seem...

History: Dynamo was a mercenary hired by Sigma to help his execution of the plan to spread the virus all over Earth. Once Sigma had executed the plan, Dynamo's job was to slow down the progress of X and Zero as they gathered parts for the Enigma cannon and the Shuttle, both of which were intended to stop the colony's crash, which was an integral part of the virus plan. Despite his arrogant claims, he turned tail and ran when X and Zero brought him to the realization that he could die. With Sigma no longer around to protect him during Mega Man X6, he tried gathering the Nightmare Souls to enhance his power. However, he still failed miserably at fighting X and Zero, and always ran away to fight again. Ever since the resolution of the Nightmare incident, he has been missing.
Dynamo appears again as a secret boss in Mega Man X6, in the Nightmare areas after unlocking Gate's Lab, and defeating both Nightmare Zero and High Max. Being struck by Rainy Turtloid's weapon causes him to be stunned and a follow-up hit from it makes him drop 200 Nightmare Souls, for a maximum of 600 per fight. Dynamo is a powerful, defensive, and fast opponent, although the ability obtained by Zero from the aforementioned boss easily makes short work of him. The pre-battle dialogue in X6 shows that he is interested in the power of the Nightmare Souls and how they can make him strong enough to defeat X and Zero. Dynamo can always be fought every time the player visits any of the Nightmare Areas, allowing X or Zero (or both) to quickly farm Nightmare Souls.

It is unclear why Dynamo is absent in Mega Man X7 and X8, however, it is possible that he is alive and hiding somewhere.

Personality: Initially, as Eas, Setsuna was cold, calculating and sly, as well as fiercely loyal to Moebius. She was overconfident and stubborn, firmly believing that she was going to be the one to defeat the Pretty Cure. However, after meeting Love, she began to open up more and find out what it truly meant to be happy. After switching sides, Setsuna becomes kind natured and patient, but for a while, she held guilt over what she did as Eas. She is able to put this behind her, however.

History: Eas first meets Momozono Love while working at the Labyrinth fortune-telling house. She, disguised as Setsuna at the time, tells Love that she will soon "encounter great happiness." Later on, Eas disrupts the Trinity concert where Love is in by summoning a Nakewameke that attacks Chinen Miyuki, the leader of the dance trio. However, Eas then witnesses that Love gains the ability to transform into Cure Peach and defeat the monster. Eas retreats into the shadows, stating with a cold laugh that she was sure they would meet again.
Eas, now as Setsuna, finds Love playing Lucky Draw in town and asks her for a tour of the town. During and after the tour, she tries to steal Love's Linkrun. After the repeated failures, Setsuna receives a clover necklace from Love, which is just an item to show she is friendly at first. Setsuna and Love meet again later, this time with Miki and Inori with her. During a get-together, Setsuna tries once again to steal Love's Linkrun, but when it reacts, she puts it down.

Moebius begins to realize that something is hindering Setsuna, as Eas, from eliminating Pretty Cure, so he gives her the Nakisakebe cards. Upon using it, thorny, black vines dig into her skin. It is not until Pretty Cure defeat it after a hard battle that she is saved. The third time the card is used, the Akarun is spotted in town, but has a hard time choosing its master. The vines fully bind her, but the Nakisakebe is defeated, stopping any further damage.

Soular talks to Eas after the third defeat, because Moebius has given her one last chance to defeat Pretty Cure. During the fourth Nakisakebe attack, Cure Peach encounters Eas. Setsuna reveals her human identity and breaks the clover necklace. After a final battle between her and Cure Peach, Eas' body dies due to her life being offered. She, however is saved by the Akarun, giving her a new form: Cure Passion. Although Love accepts her immediately, she walks away, conflicted on what to do.
Setsuna has realized that now that Labyrinth has kicked her out, she has no place to go. While wandering the streets, she meets Love and her family, who are going to a restaurant to eat. Love convinces her to join and Setsuna begins to enjoy herself more. Westar, wanting to confirm Eas has switched sides and possibly get her back, attacks the city with a tower turned Nakewameke. Cure Peach first confronts the menace on her own, but then Setsuna, realizing that she has felt more happy spending time with Love, becomes Cure Passion and uses Happiness Hurricane to purify the Nakewameke. Love's mother offers to let Setsuna stay in their house, to which she accepts.

Although Setsuna is adapting to the society of a normal girl, she is still haunted by her past deeds as Eas everywhere she goes. However, she is backed up by the rest of Pretty Cure, and when a Nakewameke representing Eas, attacks the girls, she confronts the fake and defeats her with the girls, putting her past to rest. She later on feels that she should start dancing with the girls, becoming a part of their dancing group Clover, and although she hesitates, she gets help from Inori.FPC26
Setsuna transfers to Love's school. She proves to be quite capable and hard working, answering math problems correctly and playing sports well. This gathers the attention of a lot of fans, and she becomes popular, to Daisuke's dismay. After Westar turns a pitching machine into a Nakewameke, Cure Berry uses the Burun to change the group uniforms. Setsuna gets a home run, and all four finish off the Nakewameke.

One day, when Setsuna and Love have been out shopping, Setsuna wonders how Labyrinth is doing with their mission. While eating donuts at Kaoru's shop, she explains what Infinity is and why the Labyrinth is after it. Though the girls are worried about it, they decide to do their best beating the villains. On their way home, they are told by several people good things that are going to happen the day after. It turns out that, after defeating Labyrinth and the Nakewameke that stopped the clock, that Chiffon actually is Infinity, before said, Chiffon disappears.

When Chiffon was captured by Northa and went to Labryinth, The Precures discovered that Labryinth is taking control of all of the parallel worlds and will be destroyed if they don't make it to save Chiffon and defeat Labryinth. They had no choice but to tell their friends and family they're Precures, tranformed infront of their eyes and explained to them everything and that they are going to Labryinth. When Setsuna was about to use her Linkrun to teleport her and the others, their parents stopped them saying it was too dangerous and said what was going to happen if they don't survive. So they changed back to girls and stayed for a short while of what their Parents decide but they can't waid any longer so they ran away but their parents knew about this but came back to say good bye and promised to come back. Soon they tranformed to Precures and were teleported to Labryinth.
The Pretty Cures got to Labryinth and luckily for them, Cure Passion is their guide book for Labryinth since she used to be a denizen and was a high rank. Then they saw a group of people heading to Moebius Tower and she said that they must be in the line or they'll be spotted. They see a old man carrying a heavy box and Love wanted to help him but Setsuna stopped her telling that if she does that, they'll be spotted so they left the old man as it is saying "Everything for Lord Moebuis" with the other Denizens that the precures are sorry that it is how Labryinth is. When they got to the Tower, they've made a run but then were discovered by Moebius and Klein. When they got to the enterance, a Sorewatase appeared and attacked the Pretty Cures. They destroyed the monster and went inside. Cure Passion led the way to Moebius but went to here and there that it was a maze and a different halls that were changing that Cure Passion cannot the way. Suddenly another Sorewatase came back to get them and when they about to fight, 2 portals came from the floor suddenly appeared separating Passion and Berry from Peach and Pine. They were teleported to the Waste Processing Plant and confronted Soular and Westar. Passion fought with Westar and Berry against Soular. Westar tried to convince Passion to come back to Labryinth and kept calling her Eas. Passion tried to convince him too telling him that Moebuis is using him as trash and telling him if the world is Labryinth, he won't eat doughnuts which are his Happiness. Just as Westar was about to finish her, the delete hole was summoned. Passion tried to run away but her foot got stucked by wires and a broken machine was about to hit her but then Westar saved her and ripped the wires to get her foot out. Westar told Passion that he was a fool and a trash but Passion told him that he wasn't but a kind friend that acted as a comrade even though she betrayed him and he kept calling her name. But then Westar and Soular were sucked in leaving Passion and Berry in grief losing their friends as they sacrificed themselves to the precures.

They soon reunited with Peach and Pine but then Northa then appeared and turn to her true monster form. They tried to fight it and used Happiness Hurricane , Love Sunshine Fresh, Healing Prayer Fresh, and Espoir Shower Fresh and defeated her. Just then, Klein appeared, showing them his horrid, true, monster form/self and combined him and Northa into one as a monster. It was powerful, they manage to tire it out and used Lucky Clover Grand Finale, but it manage to resist it and threw them to the ground. They were about to give up but then a girl came over to help Peach. She told her that she and the Pretty Cures saved them and she want's to help them which gave a little spirit to them. Everyone in Labryinth came to cheer them on. Westar and Soular then appeared telling them not to give up. Passion and Berry were so happy they were Alive. The Monster was about to attack but Westar and Soular protected them and the people of Labryinth. People of Labryinth tried to stay strong and encouraged the Precures with their hearts to stand and don't give up. The Precure will stand up for them and thanks to the hearts of the people of Labryinth, they gave the Precures power and transformed into Cure Angel. They defeated the monster and flew to the tower to save Chiffon. They encountered Moebius and saw Chiffon.Cure Passion used her Passion Harp and used Happiness Hurricane to try to convince Moebius into joining the good. But, It backfired because he was a robot. He then attacked Pretty Cure and took control of them but they regained conciousness. Everyone collected a lot of heart to prepare the Loving True Heart Fresh!!. With the attack, Chiffon regained conciousness and turn to it's original form, defeated Moebius and saved the parell worlds. Labryinth soon cheered for this victory and Precure, Soular, Westar, Tarte, Azukina and Chiffon went back to Clover Town.
At the end of their journey, when Moebius has been defeated, Setsuna decides to follow Soular and Westar back to Labyrinth in order to make it a happy place, just like how Love and Clover Town made her happy. Before she leaves, she attends and wins the dance competition with the rest of Clover.

He is a Pooka; a fictional rabbit species that stands between six to seven feet tall, with grayish-blue fur, flower-like imprints on both his forehead and shoulders, and bright green eyes. He wears leather bracers set with orange stones, a single-strap holster with which he carries his boomerangs, and leather wrappings on his feet. In his disbelieved state, he assumes the form of a regular rabbit, but still retains the ability to talk.

Personality: Bunnymund is a cool, calm Australian as dry as the Outback. A natural ranger, he is an in the dirt, rough and tumble protector of nature. He follows nature's rhythms and when it's time to spring into action he waits for the perfect moment to act. When he finally does, it's all over in a heart beat with the help of his exploding eggs and enchanted boomerangs. Bunny is completely unflappable. The only thing that does get under his skin is North's constant ribbing about how Christmas is more important than Easter.

History: A mythological Pooka who travels the galaxy, E. Aster Bunnymund specializes in making delicious chocolates—and battling evil. Part sorcerer, part ninja, and completely brilliant, Bunnymund is hard to find but well worth the search.

personality:Despite seeming quite cold and aloof at first, Booker does begin to care about things , and develops a particularly strong bond with Elizabeth.

He is initially quite manipulative, and tries to trick Elizabeth by stating that he will fly the airship they've boarded to Paris. He doesn't however bank on Elizabeth knowing about co-ordinates, and she soon figures out that they're going to New York, not Paris.

This brings about somewhat of a change in Booker, and he begins to respect Elizabeth and wants to protect her from harm not just for his own personal gain, but because he cares.

Appearance: Booker wears a suit with a red tie along with a leather vest he also wears jeans with a belt.

Weapons: Booker uses a Sky-Hook up close combat but he mostly uses guns to do his fighting like pistols, rocket launchers, shotguns sniper rifles machine guns, crank guns (aka crank minigun) any gun he can get his hands on.

History: In 1912, Booker is contacted by a man who offered him a chance to pay off his gambling debts. The client gives DeWitt information about the location of Columbia and commissions him to find and rescue Elizabeth, a young woman held captive within the city, and bring her back to New York. Upon his arrival in Columbia, DeWitt hears explosions and gunfire in the distance, revealing the civil turmoil in the city. He arrives in Columbia sometime between 3 - 4 PM, due to the "Hudson's" shop docking time, and where the sun is at in the sky. In Columbia, Booker gains access to extraordinary abilities in the form of Vigors. As Booker progresses through Columbia he is antagonized by Father Zachary Hale Comstock, the city's founder and leader who is seemingly gifted with foreknowledge and predicts Booker's future actions. He also experiences strange lapses in consciousness, always accompanied by a bleeding nose.

It is eventually revealed that Booker and Comstock are in fact the same person, but from different realities; after the battle of Wounded Knee, Booker DeWitt attempted to cleanse himself of his past through a baptism—in one reality, he accepted the baptism and became Zachary Comstock—in the other reality, Booker was unable to follow through, and rejected the ceremony, eventually falling into a life of alcohol, gambling and debt. To wipe away the debts, he made the decision to give up his child Anna to Comstock via Robert Lutece. However, Booker immediately regretted this decision, and chased after Lutece to get Anna back. In an alleyway, he came across Lutece, a young Comstock, holding Anna and a woman who stood within a unnatural hole in a wall—this hole, or portal, was a passage between Comstock's reality and Booker's. As he grappled with Comstock for Anna, Comstock and Lutece entered the portal, and Comstock ordered it to be closed. Ultimately, Comstock was able to take Anna through the portal as it closed, leaving Booker alone with Anna's pinkie finger lying on the ground—it had been severed as the portal closed.
After languishing in remorse for nearly twenty years, Booker reencountered Robert Lutece, who along with Rosalind Lutece offered him the chance to travel to Columbia and retrieve her. Booker then entered Comstock's reality, but the effects of entering a different reality wiped his memory—thus his mind created new memories. He believed that retrieving a girl named Elizabeth from Columbia and brining her to New York would wipe away his debts—these false thoughts were reenforced by materials given to him by the Luteces, one of which is a picture of Elizabeth, with the words "Bring to New York Unharmed" written on the back.

Booker managed to rescue Elizabeth, and the pair journeyed across Columbia, experiencing the conflict between Comstock and the Vox Populi, as well as attempting to discover the source of Elizabeth's powers to create holes in dimensional time and space, and each of their connections with Comstock himself.

After Elizabeth is captured by Songbird, Booker goes after her; coming across a hospital-of-sorts. Booker encounters Elizabeth—from the future—who gives him a note to give to the younger version of herself, which Booker does after rescuing her.
Together, they head to the Hand of the Prophet, Comstock's zeppelin, where they confront him in his cabin. There, Comstock laments his actions, realizing that the truth would have been better than sending armies after Elizabeth and Booker. He grabs Elizabeth and demands that Booker tell her the truth about her missing finger, but Booker kills him in anger. Elizabeth believes that Booker does know the truth about what happened to her finger, but he doesn't remember it. They both decide to destroy Elizabeth's former home, where the siphon is located, which would remove the restrictions on Elizabeth's powers.

On the bridge, the Hand of the Prophet comes under attack from the Vox Populi fleet, but with the "Whistler" in hand, Booker is able to use Songbird to defeat the Vox fleet. He then orders the mechanical bird to destroy the statue where the siphon is. As the statue crumbles, there is a massive shockwave of energy, which renders the "Whistler" useless, and Songbird quickly turns on Elizabeth and Booker, but Elizabeth—the full extent of her powers restored—transports them all to Rapture, where Songbird finally meets its end, succumbing to the intense underwater pressure.

Making their way to a Bathysphere, Booker and Elizabeth rise to the surface, encountering a lighthouse—the same lighthouse that Jack would come across in 1960—They enter to find millions upon millions of lighthouses, which Elizabeth reveals to be other realities, all "constants and variables."

They eventually enter a door which leads to a watershed event in Booker's life—the baptism after the Wounded Knee massacre. As he did before, Booker rejects it, but Elizabeth reminds him that Comstock was there as well, and that they need to find him.
They then come across Booker's residence and find that there is a crib Anna, Booker's daughter inside.
Elizabeth tells Booker that Comstock, like them and everyone else, lives in millions and millions of worlds—only by completely erasing him from existence will his atrocities be undone.
After reliving his failed attempt to save Anna from Comstock—which is the reason he branded "AD" on his right hand—he finally realizes the truth; Elizabeth is really Anna DeWitt, his daughter.

Earth Magic-Able to summon thorned or thornless vines, or nearby large tree roots from the ground. She may also change colors of plants as well as fasten the pace of a fruit growing to ripe.
Fire Magic-Able to summon flames from her hands in different forms to her power and creativity.

Weapons:
Ruby and Emerald dual blades. Both can be put together to form a bow. A string of light is made and when pulled back, it isable to shoot normal, light, or fire arrows. When apart, the Ruby blade is able to erupt flames on command. The Emerald is capable of turning into a vine whip, or paralyzing others at contact, also at Thadea's command. They are only capable of doing this however using her magic, so she does not use these abilities for her sword often, or else it would eat up most of her stamina. Both blades can be attached and flicked against her arms or pointing outwards on her bracelets.

Appearance:
Leather shin guards, green shorts, green skirt with red edge, a red tank top, a green sleeve that goes over her left arm and covers up the whole forearm and shoulder area; she keeps that part on by clipping it to a shoulder guard that covers the right shoulder. She has two bracelets holding her dual blades. A fingerless glove covers her right hand. She also has this fusion between ruby and emerald hairpin needle, often used for picking locks when necessary. Thadea is usual seen with her a tiara wrapped around her head, that apparently used to belong to her mother. She has blonde hair and blue eyes resembling her father's. She is occasionally seen wearing glasses often while reading a book, which is very common.

Personality: With Thadea's honest, benevolent, optimistic, confident, and having a strong sense to help others, you're hardly allowed to frown around her. It's been shown that she has a sense of mystery, considering any questioning about her past quickly leads her to a change of subject. She has been known for her love of reading since a young age, making her very intelligent in a variety of topics, as well as a good story-teller and deep thinker, which makes up for her lack of strength; so she relies on reflexes, and technique during combat. She tends to be extremely self-sacrificing, like her mother had been, for the sake of others.

History:
There's not much she's willing to reveal about it. Other than the fact that she was a Princess in a now 'Long gone' Kingdom, she doesn't speak much about what exactly the kingdom's name actually was, much less, even her race. Who's to say these secrets are dark, or that she's ashamed of who she is, she just doesn't talk about it.

Other:
Using her innocent looks and way with words, she can manipulate most people for sefless reasons, usually for making peace. She has amazing intellectual intelligence, giving her useful talents such as memory, a fast learner, tactical, and rapid reader. Also, great accuracy with arching. Her amount of strengths isn't such a good thing with her amount of weaknesses. Thade'sa life can be in great danger if in an area with a lack of oxygen, such as a small container, also being in extremely cold temperatures. She becomes weak and limp if in water or radiation for too long or any contact with acid, such as acid rain. All are due to her connection with the elements of fire and nature. Also, due to her innocent mind being ruined at a younger age thanks to her aunt and uncle, Thadea is a major closet pervert. :T Oh yes, caution of her death hugs too.

Powers: The exact extent of Sparda's powers remains unknown; but it is shown that his powers surpassed even the "Prince of Darkness" himself, evidenced when Sparda single-handedly defeated Mundus and his demonic armies. Though it is to be seen that his powers stem from a heat related aspect, the exact nature of his powers are uncertain as his true form appears to be partly corporeal-scales and flesh-and partly ghostly-as if made from smoke or shadow. As in Dante the abilities and utilization of fire and electricity seem to be among his abilities. But his power seems to transcend all reality. Arkham himself likened obtaining Sparda's power to becoming a god. In Devil May Cry 3, Dante was unable to defeat Arkham, who wielded the Sparda sword (and thus Sparda's powers) at the time, until Vergil shows up. However, it should be noted that Griffon in the first Devil May Cry admonished, after being defeated for the final time, that "[Dante's] are definitely the powers of Sparda. No, even more so.". Also, Nero was able to defeat Sanctus, who wielded Sparda and was connected to the powers of The Savior. It is suggested in Devil May Cry 4 that Sparda acquired the true extent of his power by embracing humanity, which would explain why the demons who attempt to augment their own power with Sparda's are unable to defeat the Sons of Sparda. He was also implied to be a powerful master swordsman, as he trained Baul and Modeus into powerful swordsmen and Modeus stated that Sparda was "the best swordsman in the Demon World", although Dante went so far as to mock his father's swordwork when he faced Baul.

Appearance: In his human disguise, Sparda was a tall, handsome man with blue eyes, a young face, and slicked-back white hair. He is shown to have worn a purple Victorian outfit with a white cravat, a large red jewel around his neck, and a monocle over his left eye. While riding into battle on horseback, he would wear armor reminiscent of his demon form.
In his true form, Sparda was a slightly-larger-than-human-sized, vaguely insectoid demon with clawed hands, a scaly hide, a pair of downward facing ram horns, chiropteran wings with beetle-like wings underneath, hooves for feet, and reptilian spines protruding from his back. Parts of his body appeared to be made of grey scales with accents of red and purple. He also had gold veins on his hands and arms, chest, shoulders and back, a red diamond eye shaped gem in the center of his forehead, and skull-shaped gold knees and elbow guards with small horns. His most notable feature were his slit-like eyes, which glowed red and did not have pupils. He is often shown wreathed in fire, although it is uncertain if he was simply impervious to it or if he summoned it.

Personality: Although not much is known about him on a personal level, it is said that he was both rebellious like Dante and level-headed like Vergil. He was well revered and respected by many demons for his heroism while in service to Mundus, describing him as a 'hero among heroes'. Legends speak fondly of his courage, righteousness and his thankless missions to protect the human world at the expense of being labelled as a traitor by all of his demon brethren. Sparda's wife, Eva, always described him as being a noble fighter with courage and a righteous heart.
Sparda understood honor and possessed great wisdom. Sparda had two apprentices, Baul & Modeus, though he only entrusted his true strength and power to Modeus as opposed to his colder brother Baul. Not long before his rebellion, he swore an oath with his students to live true to their aspirations.

History: Sparda was once one of Mundus's loyal generals. During his time in service, he was the mentor of the twin brothers Baul & Modeus, and he entrusted his teachings to Modeus. At some point he saw the tyranny and injustice of his master and rebelled, fighting to save humanity. Before his rebellion, he made a pact with his students to live true to their aspirations and to carry them out.[3] He alone defeated the hellish host, before moving on to the Emperor of Darkness himself. Sparda defeated Mundus, sealing him into a marble vault,[4] and what was left of Mundus's armies retreated back into the demon world. In order to close the gateway, Sparda used his own blood, along with the blood of a human priestess, in conjunction with his sword and a mystical amulet. He poured his demonic energy into his beloved sword to close the door between realms, the Temen-ni-gru, though this also robbed him of the lion's share of his abilities. As an added measure, he also imprisoned within the tower its gatekeepers, Cerberus, Agni & Rudra, Nevan, Beowulf and Leviathan, and took the names of the Seven Sins in order to imprison them and set them as seals keeping the Temen-ni-gru underground. In Devil May Cry 4 it is revealed that he sealed another path to hell in Fortuna using the Yamato. Sparda's activities over the next two thousand years are shrouded in legend, though it is understood that for a time after defeating Mundus, he ruled over the humans before eventually vanishing. Sparda later appeared in the twentieth century where he met and fell in love with a human woman named Eva, who bore him twin sons.

Appearance:

Personality: Kyo is the over-confident but well meaning protagonist of the series, more interested in enjoying life than having to partake in any particular responsibilities. He is quick to dismiss subjects that don't interest him and will often carry out his actions with a devil-may-care attitude. Despite his seemingly arrogant and rude demeanor, he treasures his friends and family, enjoying their presence and particularly doting on his girlfriend, Yuki. His extreme disinterest in studies has led to his chronic inability to graduate from high school (which has become subject to in-jokes). Although he is confident in his poetic talent, most of his poems aren't considered to be good by his listeners.
Kyo takes his clan's responsibilities on a more personal level, disregarding ancient legends and predestined events as any reason for his actions. His strong sense of justice and his zeal to fight stronger opponents are what he believes to drive him to carry out his destiny. His rivalry with Iori is one of mutual hatred and was hardly spurred by their clans' history. When they join forces, it is often begrudgingly and as a last resort solution to the conflict at hand.

History: 660 years ago, the Kusanagi and Yasakani clans were once allies. However, due to a horrible misunderstanding, the Yasakani struck a blood pact with Orochi for more power. They renamed their family name to Yagami and their flames, previously red like their former allies, changed to violet from Orochi's taint. Since then, the clans have waged a generation long grudge with casualties made from both sides. It continues in The King of Fighters series with Kyo and Iori Yagami.
Orochi Saga

The Orochi saga takes place in The King of Fighters 94 and 97. Kyo surpassed his father at the age of fifteen and was designated as the clan's leader. Shortly after the completion of his training, Kyo competes in a preliminary held in Japan to determine the members of the country's representative team in the King of Fighters tournament. He bests Goro Daimon and Benimaru Nikaido to become the leader of the team, the two becoming his teammates and eventual friends. They reach the finals, where they met the host of the tournament, a powerful fighter named Rugal Bernstein. Rugal boasts his desire to fight powerful opponents and challenges them. After his defeat, he self-destructs his ship in attempt to bring them with him but the team escapes unharmed.
In the next tournament, Kyo and his team are invited to another King of Fighters tournament, organized once again by Rugal, who survived his craft's self-destruction. This time, Rugal also brainwashed Kyo's missing father, Saisyu, into attacking his son. Kyo's father regains his senses after he was subdued by the team. To counter the team's strength, Rugal challenges them with power sapped from Orochi. However, Rugal's body was overwhelmed by the power's immensity and he was vaporized after his defeat. Pleased with his son's prowess, Saisyu leaves unnoticed, insinuating that he entrusts the clan's duty to Kyo.

Prior to the events of The King of Fighters 96, a mysterious man -later revealed to be one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Orochi, Goenitz- challenges Kyo to a fight. Kyo arrives, powered by his overwhelming confidence in his fists, only to be defeated soundly by his challenger and sent to the hospital. In spite of his injuries, his anger and spirit from his loss drove him to invent powerful new techniques -this is the canon explanation for Kyo trading his ground-fireball attack for his now trademark flame-laced melee attack strings. He enters the year's tournament to prove his strength to his unknown attacker. In the tournament's finals, he meets the host of the tournament and the younger heiress of the Yata clan, Chizuru Kagura. At the tournament's end, he vanquishes Goenitz with Iori and Chizuru's help. Though he is warned by Chizuru of his clan's destiny with Orochi, Kyo ignores her and promptly departs.

Before The King of Fighters 97 takes place, he is pestered by fellow high school student, Shingo Yabuki, to teach him how to create his flames. Though annoyed and flustered by his persistence, Kyo partially agrees to mentor him as a means of gaining free meals. He also experiences nightmares of a strange man defeating him at the King of Fighters tournament but continues to participate. Though it's ambiguous as to which team he enters during the tournament, it is canonly accepted that Kyo joins with Iori and Chizuru for its conclusion.

He advances into the finals, where he confronts the remaining "Four Heavenly Kings" of Orochi, Yashiro Nanakase, Shermie, and Chris. When they are beaten, Orochi possesses Chris' body and attempts to destroy the three clans at once. As was done in the legends of their clans, the trio successfully defeat him. In a last-ditch effort, Orochi (manifested in Chris' body) causes Iori to enter the berserk Riot of Blood state, expecting him to turn on Kyo and Chizuru. Instead, Iori snares Orochi by the neck, and Kyo obliged his rival by crippling the great demon with one last deathblow, allowing Chizuru to reseal Orochi. Exhausted, Kyo passes out.

Appearance: With pale features and an overall not-so-humorous outlook often makes people judge him to be a serious individual, and at first impression he is. But he is often laid-back and patient, often keeping himself to his stories and historical novels of Hyrule, which he had been reading for most of his life. He prefers to wear loose clothing and doesn't like exposing his face to people he has not met before, usually keeping it covered by his long scarf. He wears a tight shirt, arm-length gloves, and pants that reach just to the point of his waist. He also wears a sort of lower body cape that covers his legs and houses his sword which is tucked underneath, secured by a brown belt.

Personality: As mentioned before, he is usually a very misunderstood fellow. He keeps to himself and loves to read his stories on adventures of other people, mostly Link of course, and the defeat of the Evil King Ganondorf. He doesn't often like talking to other people, mostly because of his long time spent living in the desert areas of Hyrule.

History: Spending all of his life in the desert, while at the young age of ten years old he came across a cart in the middle of the sands. Salvaging what was inside of it he came across many books, mostly tales of heroics and virtue. He had read each and every one of them many times but never seems to get tired of them, even coming to the point he could read every page of the smaller books in a matter of hours, the larger books only take him a few days to read. He imagined it came from a merchant, but as for the merchant himself was nowhere to be found, not even a body among that rubble. As for food itself, he found the animals rather tasty in the environment, the waters from the desert plants keeping him hydrated, he never left the desert until the age of twenty two when a stranger had come to visit him. Convincing him to leave the desert for a small time, she lead him to the many other places of Hyrule which he had only read about in his stories, but had never even seen until this point. He saw the fields of Hyrule, lake Hylia, the castle town, Lon Lon Ranch, the forests, and even the outside view of the desert which he had lived in for so long. It was completely new to him that some had even taken refuge on the outer portions of the desert, calling themselves the Gerudos, and using the dangerous dust storms as some kind of twisted challenge at joining the group. But to him, the dangers of the desert was nothing since he's lived there for so long, so he never even attempted trying this challenge for himself, considering it would be too easy for him. He spent the next five years living outside of the desert, but found it difficult as he couldn't find the desert animals to feed on, or any plants with the right amount of water in them. Though hydration wasn't much of an issue as long as lake Hylia was around, so he simply walked there if he ever needed something to drink. He of course had the help of his traveler along the way, showing him where he could provide himself with the right sustenance for survival. After five years of living outside, he returned to the desert, where he believes he belongs the most.

Other: Every now and then he would visit the outside world to visit where he promised to meet his fellow traveler at, every few days or so. He never forgets where to meet them, and considering all of the books he has read he didn't really need to map out the entire land to know exactly where everything was, considering how simple the landscape is compared to the unpredictable desert. He also knows the names of his mother and father, but doesn't care enough to remember anything about them.

Appearance: Tony/Dante wears a long-sleeved dark red dress shirt with a black vest and red jacket, as well as red pants. He also wears black gloves which are exposed at the fingertips and back of the hand.

Personality: Tony/Dante is usually stoic and seems a rare one to crack a joke, but knows how to set a mood and make a pun when the need arises. Much contrast to his outer appearance, he is actually a nice person at heart, but strangely loves to make bets.

History: A half-demon son of Sparda the Legendary Dark Knight (a demon) and Eva (a human), Dante operates as a private investigator, mostly accepting jobs involving the supernatural. When he accepts a job, he diligently finishes it to the point of gaining a reputation of infallibility; he is strong enough to face a small army of lesser demons with his bare hands. Known for his cocky banter when on a job, he is fond of strawberry sundaes and pizza without olives. His weapons of choice are a pair of Caliber .45 pistols known as Ebony (for its dark color) and Ivory (for its silver color). He also carries his sentient faithful sword, Rebellion in a guitar case. A source of a running gag in the series is his apparent lack of gambling skill and his indebtedness, often being short of money. According to Dante, this is because people who hire him usually leave him a bill instead of paying him (due to destruction he causes during the job, such as destroying a bridge). His lack of money is also attributed to Lady, to whom he owes an unspecified sum of money. Lady often takes his payment as part of his debt. When Dante earns some money it is usually squandered.

Sigma later sought to recruit him, seeing use for his superior speed. Overdrive, sensing appreciation for his abilities, pledged his loyalty to Sigma and was stationed at an abandoned missile base; charged with the task of launching the one remaining missile stored there at the Hunter Base. Before confronting Overdrive, X manages to destroy this missile just as it launches. He was good friends with Storm Eagle.

Arrested for the murder of her master Jurgis, Pyrrha sat quietly in the cold stone prison. She assumed the approaching footsteps belonged to her executioner, but instead a girl named Tira appeared before her. With skillful words, Tira wormed her way into Pyrrha's heart; when the young woman handed her a sword and shield, Pyrrha never thought to refuse her poisoned gift.
Then Tira pulled out a red metal fragment, and as soon as Pyrrha saw it, she felt something deep within begin to throb in unison with the fragment's pulsating glow.

The two fragments of Soul Edge were resonating as one.

Powers: In addition, to his great skills in combat, something that has earned him certain respect among his peers, Nero possesses the enhanced physical abilities of a demon. This combined with his already admirable combat skills makes Nero a very formidable adversary.

He showed several remarkable feats of immense power and amazing combat prowess, including defeating several powerful demons (Berial, Bael, and Echidna), defeating countless demons on his way through the Mitis Forest, defeating Credo who had gained a large increase in power from the Ascension Ceremony, killing Sanctus while he was in his final ascended form and powered by both The Savior and the Sword of Sparda's immense energies, and striking the final blow to the Savior, something even Dante was unable to do. In addition, Sanctus remarked that Nero had inherited Sparda's power.

Nero has shown the ability to channel his demonic power into objects shown in his Charge Shot and Air Hike abilities.

Even before gaining Devil Trigger, Nero is shown to be extremely strong, able to easily block Berial's huge flaming sword, using only his left hand and Red Queen, and he even forced Berial's sword back with a strong thrust. He has also demonstrated the ability to skillfully fight enemies without his usual weapons or the Devil Bringer: he easily defeated a large group of Scarecrows using only hand-to-hand combat and a blade he'd taken from one of the demons,and one of his gameplay moves makes him perform a dropkick if he's running fast enough.

Devil Trigger - This demon has a noticeable resemblance to the Vergil's Devil Trigger, mainly because of the "sheath" on its left arm, used for storing Yamato when it is not in use. Nero himself only acquires a blue aura, burning red eyes, and a deeper, echoing voice. The specter usually mimics Nero's movements, doing right-handed versions of Nero's attacks.

After acquiring Devil Trigger Nero gains the ability to fire Summoned Swords, similar to Vergil. He also gains the demonic ability of being able to instantly heal from wounds that would be fatal to normal humans, for example when he was repeatedly impaled in Mission 6 and later healed from the fatal injuries leaving no signs of injury left.

Appearance: Nero wears a long, blue-and-red coat with The Order of the Sword's insignia sewn into both shoulders. He also wears a red zip-up hoodie/vest underneath this coat, a navy muscle-shirt beneath that, and a pair of dark blue pants.

Nero wears two rings on his normal hand: one on his index finger that has the emblem of The Order of the Sword on its face, and another on his ring finger which has a rose design on its face, identical to the designs on his belt buckle, coat clasp, and coat buttons. He has white hair brushed down and blue eyes, similar to Dante and Vergil.

Personality: In contrast with Dante's laid-back and occasionally flirtatious attitude, Nero is a serious, sardonic and somewhat anti-social person. He is a choleric character, prone to mood swings, and has been seen to both cry and become very angry multiple times during the events of Devil May Cry 4.

He is also very rebellious, much like Dante and Sparda before him: he wields guns, despite the Order's general prohibition against them; he doesn't really believe in the Order's religion; and cares little for the legend of Sparda. Despite this, he is also very loyal to his friends, especially to Kyrie and Credo. Even though he doesn't care for the Order of the Sword's religion, Nero still participates in some of their activities out of respect for Credo and Kyrie. However, his rebellious nature leads to the Order having him work alone on "special jobs." In fact, Nero actually prefers to act as a lone wolf.

Like Dante, Nero is a somewhat arrogant and cocky person. He shares Dante's habit of casually mouthing off to even the most powerful of his enemies, making taunts and sarcastic jokes on the battlefield. Nero also taunts in a similar, sarcastic fashion to Dante: One taunt involves him bowing mockingly and asking, "Shall we dance?"; another has him aiming the Blue Rose at his enemies and saying "Bang!" instead of shooting; and still another has him applaud his enemies.

When he first received the Devil Bringer, he considered it a curse, and covered it with a medical sling to hide it out of shame. However, over time he begins to accept his demonic power but doesn't fully accept it until the end of Devil May Cry 4.

Nero is one of the few characters in the Devil May Cry series to actually swear. He calls Agnus a "jackass", tells Sanctus to "go and blow himself", could say "I'm not interested in your bullshit" in the first battle with Sanctus, and gives Dante the middle finger before being absorbed by The Savior.

History: Before DMC4

Little about him is known, except that he was raised in the city of Fortuna as an orphan and taken in by Kyrie's and Credo's family since childhood, growing into young adulthood together. Nero got his name from a black blanket in which he was found. His actual origin still remains unknown but Sanctus makes multiple references to Nero being "a descendant with Sparda's blood."

Mentioned in an incident report, a number of demons appeared suddenly from the Mitis Forest and attacked Fortuna. Luckily, Nero was present at the scene and exterminated all of the demons. During this incident, Kyrie, who was accompanying Nero, was injured while Nero received a minor injury to his right shoulder. Nero's sword, the Red Queen, was damaged and sent for repair. Kyrie recovered completely, but Nero's shoulder never healed, and he continued to carry his arm in a sling after the incident.

Post DMC4 Events

On the day of the Festival of the Blade, Nero barely manages to make it to Kyrie's performance in time after dealing with a group of demons, with a man in red secretly watching him from the rooftops. He leaves her a gift and then prepares to leave, having grown tired of Sanctus's preaching. Just before he can, though, the mysterious man in red bursts in through the glass ceiling during a prayer and slays Sanctus, the leader of the Order.

Before the assassin (who is later revealed to be Dante) can confirm the kill, Credo, along with a battalion of knights confront him, but are completely outmatched. Kyrie, seeing that Dante is going to kill her brother, finally escapes Nero's hold on her and runs to them, but is knocked down in the process. When Nero sees the man in red looming over Kyrie, he kicks him in the face and orders Credo and Kyrie to go get help while he stalls Dante.

The two fight, and Nero is forced to reveal his Devil Bringer. With it, he is able to knock Dante back and impale him with his own sword on Sparda's statue. But Dante, who isn't just a mere mortal, frees himself and jumps down. Nero states that Dante isn't human, to which Dante then pulls Rebellion out and comments that they're the same, and points out the knights he had slain, who turned out to be demons. Confused, Nero watches as Dante flees the scene.

Shortly after, Kyrie returns Nero's sword, Red Queen, at Credo's request. Credo gives an order to Nero - to pursue the man in red, with witnesses seeing him heading to Fortuna Castle. Suddenly, all three feel the building shudder, and leave to discover the city's citizens being attacked by demons. While Kyrie and Credo lead the survivors back to headquarters, Nero fights off the remaining demons.

In order to pursue Dante, Nero must go through Fortuna, which has been totally overrun with demons. His pursuit of Dante leads him to discover the source of these demons: In a small village at the base of Lamina Peak, just outside the city, Nero finds the first Hell Gate and fights its guardian, Berial the Conqueror of the Fire Hell.
